INTEGRATED PROCESS FOR MAXIMIZING RECOVERY OF LIQUID PETROLEUM GAS

An integrated process for maximizing recovery of LPG is provided. The process comprises providing a hydrocarbonaceous feed comprising naphtha, and a hydrogen stream to a reforming zone. The hydrocarbonaceous feed is reformed in the reforming zone in the presence of the hydrogen stream and a reforming catalyst to provide a reformate effluent stream. At least a portion of the reformate effluent stream and at least one stream comprising C.sub.6 hydrocarbons from one or more of a hydrocracking zone, an isomerization zone, and a transalkylation zone is passed to a debutanizer column of the reforming zone to provide a fraction comprising liquid petroleum gas (LPG) and a debutanizer column bottoms stream.

CATALYSTS AND PROCESSES FOR THE CONVERSION OF SYNTHESIS GAS TO LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS (LPG) HYDROCARBONS
20240010922 · 2024-01-11 ·

Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) synthesis catalyst systems are disclosed that provide activities for both alcohol (e.g., methanol) synthesis and in situ dehydration of the alcohol (e.g., methanol) to hydrocarbons, and particularly the LPG hydrocarbons propane and/or butane. The incorporation of a stabilizer such as platinum and/or yttrium (e.g., as yttria or yttrium oxide) can benefit these catalyst systems, particularly in terms of improving their activity and/or stability. Other advantages may be realized by the incorporation of promoters such as manganese (Mn), magnesium (Mg), and/or silicon (Si) into these catalyst systems, such as to improve selectivity to, and/or yield of, desired LPG hydrocarbons.

Process for the regeneration of an alkaline solution used in a process for the extraction of sulphur-containing compounds not comprising a washing step

The present invention relates to the field of extraction of sulphur-containing compounds such as mercaptans, COS, H.sub.2S or CS.sub.2 from a hydrocarbon cut. This selective extraction is carried out by bringing the hydrocarbon cut in the liquid phase into contact with an alkaline solution, for example caustic soda. The process in accordance with the invention is an improved process for the regeneration of alkaline solution which can be used to reduce the quantity of alkaline solution necessary in the regeneration section.

A Regeneration Method For Liquefied Petroleum Gas Sweetening Caustic

A regeneration method for a liquefied gas thiol-removing alkaline solution comprising the following steps: performing an oxygenation reaction with respect to a liquefied gas thiol-removing alkaline solution and, at the same time, utilizing a high air-liquid condition to extract a disulfide and a polysulfide into a gas phase, thus completing the separation of the disulfide and the polysulfide from the alkaline solution, and implementing the regeneration of the liquefied gas thiol-removing alkaline solution.

System for reclaiming liquefied petroleum gas

An LPG reclaim system for withdrawing and reclaiming liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) from an unspent LPG cylinder. The reclaim system has a reclaim station for reclaiming unspent LPG from LPG bottle containers, a compressor for applying a vacuum on the reclaim station and pressurizing LPG vapor from the reclaimed LPG fluid, and a receiving tanlc for receiving a stream of pressurized liquid LPG. The reclaim system has a pair of shell-and-tube heat exchangers include cold-side tubes and a hot side shell. The reclaimed LPG fluid is passed through the cold-side tubes, while the pressurizing LPG vapor is passed through the hot-side shell of the heat exchanger. The heat applied to the cold-side reclaimed LPG fluid promotes evaporation of the LPG fluid to LPG vapor for pressurizing, and the cooling applied to the hot-side pressurized LPG vapor promotes condensation of the LPG vapor to LPG liquid for the refill containers.
