Modern Umbrella
This invention proposes a modern umbrella, which consists of ribs, nests, shaft and canopy. The ribs have long ribs and supporting ribs, and the nests are composed of upper nest and lower nest, with the lower nest composed of several disks from up to down. Between two neighboring disks is a connecting tube, and the disks mentioned above have several mounting notches, which are not arranged in order. One end of supporting rib is articulated to mounting notch, and the other end to long rib. With regard to two neighboring disks, the distance from the joint between supporting rib connected with upper disk and long rib to upper nest is no greater than the distance from the joint between supporting rib connected with lower disk and long rib to upper nest. The canopy clings to long ribs to shape various concave-convex surfaces. Through layers of disks at the lower nest, the canopy clinging to ribs shows the staggered arrangement of concave-convex surfaces to improve water diversion effects, air flow dispersion ability and the ability to withstand wind. Meanwhile, such design can achieve the aim of folding the umbrella safely.

Ball Joint Base and Twist Lock for Slideable Concentric Members Adapted for Use in Umbrellas with Extensible Canopy Ribs
A twist lock mechanism for easily achieving a secure locking relationship between an outer member and an inner member is provided for use on an umbrella with a ball-joint based for adaptive orientation, and a spike receiving base or anchoring base mechanism.

Two-stage folding structure for two-fold inverted umbrella
A two-stage folding structurer for two-fold inverted umbrella includes an umbrella shaft assembly consisting of an inner shaft tube, an outer shaft tube and a handle, and a control device set including a release mechanism mounted in the outer shaft tube, a positioning device mounted in the inner shaft tube, a spring member connected between the release mechanism and the positioning device and a control device mounted to the handle. When the outer shaft tube is received to the inner shaft tube in the received position, the release mechanism is moved close to the positioning device, and a hook of the positioning device is forced to hook in a retaining notch of the release mechanism to lock the outer shaft tube and the inner shaft tube in the received position.

UMBRELLA ASSEMBLY SET UP DEVICES
An umbrella is provided that has a support pole, a canopy frame, and a set up assembly. The canopy frame is coupled with the support pole. The set up assembly is coupled with the canopy frame. The set up assembly is configured to open the canopy frame. The set up assembly has an actuator handle, a recess disposed on or in the support pole, and a locking pin. The locking pin is coupled with the handle and is moveable by the handle along a first direction between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the locking pin is disposed in the recess. In the second position the locking pin is spaced away from the recess. Movement of the locking pin along the umbrella pole adjacent to the recess in a second direction transverse to the first direction moves the locking pin between the first position and the second position in the first direction without moving the actuator handle in the first direction.
Stickless exteriorly operated umbrella canopy
An umbrella canopy that opens and closes not from a stick from within the interior of the umbrella canopy but from the exterior crown where a line is pulled to open the umbrella canopy and where a button is pushed to close the umbrella canopy. The interior of the umbrella canopy includes no stick to hold up the umbrella canopy. Taut edges of the umbrella canopy hold up the umbrella canopy, for instance, on the top edges of a playyard.
MULTIFUNCTIONAL UMBRELLA TENT
The present invention relates to the technical field of sunshading articles, and particularly discloses a multifunctional umbrella tent, comprising an umbrella surface, umbrella ribs, an umbrella disc assembly, an umbrella rod and ear pieces. The umbrella ribs support the umbrella surface, the umbrella disc assembly is hinged in the middle of the umbrella ribs, and the umbrella rod is connected to the lower end of the umbrella disc assembly; the ear pieces are triangular and detachably connected to both sides of the umbrella surface in an expanded state; the umbrella ribs are evenly arranged on the lower end of the umbrella surface peripherally, and comprise a plurality of long ribs and a plurality of short ribs; and the umbrella disc assembly comprises an umbrella cap, an upper disc, a lower disc and an outer lock of the lower disc.
