FIRE STARTER
A fire starter includes a casing made from a first material a first material having a first time associated therewith that defines a length of time that the casing burns after being ignited. A second material disposed in the casing has a second time associated therewith that defines a length of time that the second material burns after being ignited. An igniter, disposed in the casing and adjacent to the second material, generates a first thermal event to ignite the second material wherein the second material combusts to define a second thermal event that ignites the first material. An actuator is coupled to the igniter and is positioned outside of the casing for activating the igniter to generate the first thermal event.
SLOW-BURNING LOG
The invention relates to warming, heating devices for warming and cooking, and it can be utilized in household, in the field, in camping and in any touristic events as a source of stand-alone flame for warming, cooking, as well as for illumination. A slow-burning log that is made of a solid-fuel material of a vegetable origin has upper, lower and side surfaces, at least two vertical through incisions that extend from the upper surface to the lower one and intersect with each other thereby forming a general through vertical hole that begins in a midsection of the upper surface. The vertical through incisions are made as partially inner incisions, and beginning from the upper surface they do not extend to the side surface of the log, while in the lower section of the log they extend to the side surface thereby forming side entrances for air delivery on the side surface. The vertical through incisions are made in a shape of trapezoid or rectangular grading into the trapezoid or a rectangular grading into another rectangular or in any other shape or in the form of any figure. The side entrances are made with dimensions calculated with consideration of air volume that is delivered therethrough and required to maintain uniform stable burning process. The slow-burning log comprises an ignition agent arranged at least in the general vertical through hole. The slow-burning log may be made with a removable support for a reservoir for cooking. The slow-burning log is made with a handle. Technical effect lies in increase of the burning time, provision of uniform long-term burning, provision of uniform cooling of the log body along the entire perimeter of the vertical through incisions while also providing uniform delivery of air from the bottom to the vertical through incisions along the entire perimeter thereof in order to provide stability of the burning temperature and uniform gradual burning of the log, allowing adjustment of the burning process providing slowing down thereof, increase of fabricability, reduction of labor intensity of production.

SLOW-BURNING LOG
Use: for warming, cooking and lighting at rest outdoors, in campings, in any field, touristic or other events.
Essence: a slow-burning log made of a solid-fuel material of a vegetable origin, the log having upper, lower and side surfaces, upper and lower vertical incisions, which are made opened on the side surface, and which extend from the upper and lower surfaces respectively towards the opposite surface without reaching it, wherein the lower vertical incisions are not coupled between each other and uniformly alternate with the upper vertical incisions, the upper vertical incisions couple between each other inside the log body thereby forming a middle hole, in addition, the ends of the lower vertical incisions are higher than the ends of the upper vertical incisions, and the upper and lower vertical incisions are provided in an amount of not less than three respectively.
Technical advantages: technical effect lies in provision of uniform moderate burning when using the log, complete combustion thereof maintaining integrity of the device during burning with elimination of breakage into parts, effective uniform ignition of the log section that comprises lower vertical incisions with further uniform moderate burning until complete combustion of the device with elimination of fading out and provision of burning stability and slow burning of the device. At the same time, increase of the burning duration of the claimed log is provided. Therewith, increase of manufacturability, usage convenience, reduction of material intensity and value is provided.

Combined Fire Starter and Chimney Cleaner
The present invention relates to a combined fire starter and chimney cleaner for use in private households. It is well-known that creosote in a chimney is a serious fire hazard hence the chimney needs to be swept on a fairly regular basis by a chimney sweeper. The process of ordering a chimney sweeper can be cumbersome and expensive. By adding a creosote cleaning agent to the fire starter it will be possible to at least minimise the creosote build-up, which will extend the time needed between chimney sweeps. Thus the running cost of having a fireplace is lowered.
