System and Method for Reprocessing Animal Bedding
A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of the manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. The bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, said bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In yet another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.
Organic Fire Starter
A fire starter device manufactured from natural, organic components and designed for igniting combustible materials in wood stoves, fireplaces, firepits, and camp fires, or igniting charcoal briquettes. The device is moldable as it solidifies during the cooling of a slurry of coarsely ground pine cones and beeswax, soy wax, or a mixture of beeswax and soy wax. A cotton string coated with beeswax and inserted into the fire starter during the manufacturing process serves as the initial ignition point for the device. No petroleum products or derivatives of petroleum (paraffin) are used in the production of this fire starter. The components of this device are naturally occurring and renewable resources—pine cones and either beeswax, soy wax, or a blend of beeswax and soy wax. The burning of this device as an ignition source produces no noxious fumes, a pleasant odor, and minimal residue.
Combustible Cooking Brick and Cover Device Assembly
A combustible cooking brick and cover device assembly for controlled and mess-free grilling includes a combustible cooking brick and a cover device. The combustible cooking brick comprises crushed charcoal and at least 2% lighter fluid by weight. The brick is rectangular prismatic and proportioned to fit within a standard barbeque grill. A cover device comprises a lid body having an upper face and a sidewall extending outward and downward from a perimeter of the upper face. The sidewall and the upper face define a lid interior dimensioned to contain the combustible cooking brick. A handle is coupled to the lid body and a lip is coupled to the lid body. The lip horizontally extends from a lower edge of the sidewall.
Thermite fire starter kits
In one embodiment, a portable thermite fire starter kit is provided. For instance, one or more small pieces or solid blocks of thermite may be contained within a portable kit container along with one or more ignition items. The ignition items may comprise thermite matches. In one embodiment, the ignition items are kept separate from the pieces of thermite. In one embodiment, one or both of the thermite pieces and/or thermite matches are constructed as multiple layers of progressively ignitable materials and/or compounds. In particular, the layers may start at a first layer and that can reach a first burn temperature that is at least a subsequent adjacent layer ignition temperature, where each subsequent intermediate layer leading to the thermite progressively increases in ignition temperature to not more than a previously adjacent layer burn temperature and also increases in burn temperature to at least a subsequent adjacent layer ignition temperature.
Biorenewable kerosene, jet fuel, jet fuel blendstock, and method of manufacturing
The present technology provides compositions that include at least about 98 weight percent (“wt %”) n-paraffins which, among other surprising features, may be suitable for use as a diesel fuel, an aviation fuel, a jet fuel blendstock, a blendstock to reduce the cloud point of a diesel fuel, a fuel for portable heaters, and/or as a charcoal lighter fluid. The composition includes at least about 98 wt % C.sub.7-C.sub.12 n-paraffins, where at least about 10 wt % of composition includes n-decane, at least about 20 wt % of the composition includes n-dodecane, and at least about 75 wt % of the composition includes even carbon number paraffins. The composition also includes less about 0.1 wt % oxygenates and less than about 0.1 wt % aromatics. The composition may be produced by a process that includes hydrotreating a biorenewable feedstock comprising at least one of palm kernel oil, coconut oil, babassu oil, microbial oil, or algal oil.

RENEWABLE HYDROCARBON LIGHTER FLUID
The present technology relates to hydrocarbon fluids, and more particularly, a hydrocarbon lighter fluid derived from renewable sources. Specifically, the present invention relates to converting fatty acids/glycerides to a charcoal lighter fluid with the same or better performance as petroleum middle distillates.
FIRE STARTER TUBE
A flammable tube has a plurality of air passages formed along the length of the flammable tube. A support member is positioned in an interior of the flammable tube. The support member is spaced apart from the lower end of the flammable tube. Solid fuel is positioned on the support member. A flame is introduced to the solid fuel which is within the interior of the tube which ignites the solid fuel, such as charcoal. The charcoal burns away the flammable tube and the support member. The flammable tube may be placed within a grill of the type used to cook food or other container that is nonflammable, and which provides a receptacle for the burning solid fuel without the need of a specialized grilling apparatus.
Charcoal Pyramid
A combustible product made of cardboard and compositions efficiently and conveniently supplies heat, such as for outdoor cooking. The product includes combustible material contained in a substantially four sided pyramid exterior, a substantially four sided pyramid interior space, a large closed diameter at the base of the pyramid and a small closed diameter at the top of the pyramid creating a highly conducive form for the combustible material contained in the product package, to ignite quickly and sustain an efficient and long lasting burn. The product package will come in several sizes to meet the consumers needs. The sizes will consist of extra large, large, medium, small and extra small.
FIRE PIT FUEL PACK
An outer wrapper has an outer layer and liner and arranged to form an interior volume. A quantity of fuel pellets is contained within the interior volume and faced by the liner. When ignited the outer wrapper burns away while igniting the quantity of fuel pellets.
