A zero emission liquefied fuel having a composition including a first portion and a second portion, where the first portion is one of a fossil sourced Natural Gas, wherein the fossil sourced Natural Gas is one of (a) a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) or (b) a Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) sourced from fossil decomposition and the second portion is a Renewable Natural Gas (RNG). The Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) can be sourced from any renewable source, but is preferably sourced from dairy. The fuel composition can be formulated having a carbon intensity equal to zero.
Hydrate formation promoter and use thereof in methane storage
A hydrate formation promoter and the use thereof in methane storage. The hydrate formation promoter is a mixed aqueous solution including cyclopentane, sodium dodecyl sulfate and water, wherein a volume fraction of the cyclopentane is 5% to 23.4% and a mass fraction of the sodium dodecyl sulfate is 0.01% to 0.08%. The hydrate formation promoter can realize effective and rapid formation of methane hydrate at approximate room temperature (25° C.), and can remain stable at higher temperatures.
Processing of low rank coal
A method of processing coal includes placing coal having a heat content between about 3,000 BTU/lb and about 9,000 BTU/lb and a moisture content between about 20 wt % and about 60 wt % in a vessel. The coal is heated by conduction. A pressure in the vessel is reduced to below atmospheric pressure, thereby reducing the coal, such that an average primary particle size of the coal is less than 1 millimeter. The reduced coal is shaped to yield a fuel composition.

Systems and methods associated with biomass decomposition are generally described. Certain embodiments are related to adjusting a flow rate of a fluid comprising oxygen into a reactor in which biomass is decomposed. The adjustment may be made, at least in part, based upon a measurement of a characteristic of the reactor and/or a characteristic of the biomass. Certain embodiments are related to cooling at least partially decomposed biomass. The biomass may be cooled by flowing a gas over an outlet conduit in which the biomass is cooled, and then directing the gas to a reactor after it has flowed over the outlet conduit. Certain embodiments are related to systems comprising a reactor and an outlet conduit configured such that greater than or equal to 75% of its axially projected cross-sectional area is occupied by a conveyor. Certain embodiments are related to systems comprising a reactor comprising an elongated compartment having a longitudinal axis arranged substantially vertically and an outlet conduit comprising a conveyor.
Condensate stabilization process
A natural gas processing system is configured to process a two-phase flow in a natural gas transportation system. The natural gas processing system has an off-gas compression package with a compressor suction drum, joined to a stabilizer and to a first stage compressor. A first stage off-gas after cooler is joined to the compressor suction drum and a second stage off-gas suction drum. The second stage off-gas suction drum is operatively coupled to a two-phase separator. A second stage compressor is joined to the second stage off-gas suction drum and a second stage off-gas after cooler. The second stage off-gas after cooler is operatively coupled to an acid gas removal system. The off-gas compression package separates the liquid phase from an off-gas phase.
