A method of producing biodiesel includes reacting at least one of brown grease and FOG with at least one enzyme, alcohol, and an aqueous solution to produce a reacted feedstock and producing biodiesel from the reacted feedstock, the biodiesel having a composition of sulfur less than 15 ppm.

System and method for producing a consistent quality syngas from diverse waste materials with heat recovery based power generation, and renewable hydrogen co-production

A system and method for converting waste and secondary materials into synthesis gas (syngas) through the use of a molten metal bath gasifier for the initial breakdown of waste feeds and an A/C plasma reactor for complete dissociation of waste feeds into syngas, and an anaerobic digester. The system includes a heat recovery and steam power generation process for the production of electricity. The system produces a net output of electricity above plant load sufficient for the co-production of renewable Hydrogen and Oxygen. The process does not require the use of fossil fuels or fossil feedstocks during normal operations, and it eliminates combustion produced stack emissions or landfill residuals.

Methods to produce fuels

The present disclosure generally relates to the catalytic conversion of alcohols into hydrocarbon ketones suitable for use as fuels. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to the catalytic conversion of a mixture of isopropanol-butanol-ethanol (IBE) or acetone-butanol-ethanol (ABE), into ketones suitable for use as fuels. The ABE or IBE mixtures may be obtained from the fermentation of biomass or sugars.

Method of utilizing refuses in urban and rural

The present invention discloses a method of utilizing refuses in urban and rural areas. The method includes a refuses collection step, a refuse distributing step, a primary magnetic separation step, a primary crushing step, a primary elutriation and floatation step, a uniform cutting step, an acidification and anaerobic treatment step, a selection and separation step, a buffering and adjusting step, an additional anaerobic treatment step and a sludge sedimentation and concentration step. The present invention can make the anaerobic treatment method continuatively dispose the refuses, thereby thoroughly solving the problem that non-anaerobic refuses such as waste plastics, water fiber etc. can not be recycled and completely recycling resources in the refuses.

TWO-STAGE PROCESS FOR PRODUCING OIL FROM MICROALGAE
20170233775 · 2017-08-17 · ·

A process for production of biofuels from algae can include cultivating an oil-producing algae by promoting sequential photoautotrophic and heterotrophic growth. The method can further include producing oil by heterotrophic growth of algae wherein the heterotrophic algae growth is achieved by introducing a sugar feed to the oil-producing algae. An algal oil can be extracted from the oil-producing algae, and can be converted to form biodiesel.

Renewable high density turbine and diesel fuels

A method for synthesizing cyclic hydrocarbons with linear hydrocarbon side chains from a renewable source, or biomass by naturally occurring or bioengineered fungal strains, or hydrodistillation of plants.

FLUID COMPOSITION COMPRISING LIGNIN

The present invention relates to a fluid composition comprising a solid fraction and a liquid organic fraction, wherein said solid fraction and said liquid fraction are present in a state of being intermixed, wherein said solid fraction comprises a lignin component, wherein said liquid fraction comprises an organic substance. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a process for the manufacture of such fluid compositions, to various uses thereof, and to a process for treatment of a lignocellulosic biomass.
