IN-LINE PIPE CONTACTOR
An in-line pipe contactor includes a first tubular having an outer surface and an inner surface. The inner surface defines a first flow path and the outer surface defines, in part, a second flow path. A second tubular is arranged radially outwardly of the first tubular. The second tubular includes an outer surface portion and an inner surface portion. The inner surface portion defines at least in part, the second flow path. A first end cap is mounted at the first end. The first end cap supports a first plurality of atomizers. At least one of the first plurality of atomizers is directed along the first flow path. A second end cap is mounted at the second end portion. The second end cap supports a second plurality of atomizers. At least one of the second plurality of atomizers is directed along the second flow path.
PROCESSING BIOMASS
Biomass (e.g., plant biomass, animal biomass, and municipal waste biomass) is processed to produce useful products, such as fuels. For example, systems are described that can use feedstock materials, such as cellulosic and/or lignocellulosic materials, to produce ethanol and/or butanol, e.g., by fermentation.
Nitrogen-containing diesel solidification point depressant composition, and preparation and application thereof
The present invention relates to a nitrogen-containing diesel solidification point depressant composition, and preparation and application thereof. The nitrogen-containing diesel solidification point depressant composition includes the following components in percentage by weight: 10-40% of monoisopropanolamine; 10-40% of cyclohexane; 0-20% of polyethylene glycol; and 40-60% of N-tetradecyl methacrylamide-tetradecyl methacrylate. After the prepared diesel solidification point depressant composition is added to commercially available 0 #diesel, a solidification point and a cold filter plugging point of the diesel are respectively depressed by 21-25? C. and 9-13? C.

FUEL OIL / PARTICULATE MATERIAL SLURRY COMPOSITIONS AND PROCESSES
This document relates to a fuel oil composition comprising: (i) a solid hydrocarbonaceous and/or solid carbonaceous material, wherein the material is in particulate form, and wherein at least about 90% by volume (% v) of the particles are no greater than about 20 microns in diameter; and (ii) a liquid fuel oil; wherein the solid hydrocarbonaceous and/or solid carbonaceous material is present in an amount of at most about 30 by mass (% m) based on the total mass of the fuel oil composition. The invention further relates a process for the preparation of this fuel oil composition, a method of changing a grade of a liquid fuel oil, and a method for adjusting the flash point of a liquid fuel oil.
PURINE TREATMENT METHOD FOR THE PRODUCTION OF A PRODUCT WITH A HIGH CALORIFIC VALUE
The invention relates to a method for the purification of lignin, cellulose and hemicellulose obtained from purines, which can be burned in compliance with environmental standards as a substitute for wood. The method of the invention produces a novel bio-fuel.
Mobile transport fuel refinery system and method, fuel refinery and dispensing system and method, and fuel composition
A mobile diesel fuel refinery system comprise a particulate filter adapted to remove particulates from diesel fuel flowing through the diesel fuel conduction system, a water filter adapted to remove water from diesel fuel flowing through the diesel fuel conduction system following its passage through the particulate filter, a magnetic field of sufficient strength to further refine the diesel fuel flowing through the diesel fuel conduction system following its passage through the water filter, a catalyst injector configured to inject the catalyst from a catalyst tank into the diesel fuel flowing through the diesel fuel conduction system following its passage through the magnetic field, a dispensing conduit configured to conduct the diesel fuel from the diesel fuel refinement apparatus following injection of the catalyst.

Method and system for production of biodiesel utilizing ultrasonic shear mixing to reduce the amount of energy needed by 45 to 50% and eliminate the use of water
The instant invention describes a method and system for producing biodiesel which increases energy efficiency by reducing the overall amount of energy associated with producing the biodiesel. Unlike most systems which use a batch procedure, the instant method and system utilize a continuous flow sonification procedure which provides for reactions to take place in tubes as the biodiesel moves along through the process. The continuous flow sonification procedure is performed in two main stages, utilizing the steps of acid esterification, transesterification, and a waterless washing.
