Fuel gas conditioner
A system and method for conditioning fuel gas comprises a separator to receive rich gas and to separate NGLs from the rich gas to produce lean fuel gas. A first valve is coupled before the separator to receive the rich gas to expand the rich gas in a throttling or Joule-Thomson effect to reduce the pressure and temperature of the rich gas for the separator. A heat exchanger is coupled before the first valve to transfer heat from the rich gas to the lean fuel gas. The system can further comprise another separator to receive rich gas to separate water from the rich gas to preprocess the rich gas. The system can further comprise a temperature control loop utilizing a slip stream from the separator, a second expansion valve, and another heat exchanger.
GAS DEHYDRATOR AND METHOD OF USING SAME
Systems and methods presented herein generally relate to recycling, or reducing flaring or venting, of vent gases from glycol based dehydration of natural gas. Some systems and methods use high pressure gas, high pressure glycol, or pump-assisted high pressure glycol to provide motive energy to draw reflux gas and/or skimmer gas through one or more venturis and back to the contact tower of the dehydration system. Some systems and methods provide for harvesting energy from the dehydration process.

Enhanced oil recovery streams
A method for recovering hydrocarbons includes receiving a carbon dioxide recycle stream. The carbon dioxide recycle stream is separated into a purified carbon dioxide recycle stream and a natural gas liquids stream. The purified carbon dioxide recycle stream includes carbon dioxide and a first portion of C.sub.3 hydrocarbons from the carbon dioxide recycle stream. The natural gas liquids stream includes natural gas liquids and a second portion of the C.sub.3 hydrocarbons from the carbon dioxide recycle stream. The second portion of the C.sub.3 hydrocarbons contains a molar percentage of C.sub.3 hydrocarbons that is greater than a molar percentage of C.sub.3 hydrocarbons of the first portion of the C.sub.3 hydrocarbons.
