BIOLUBRICANTS FOR REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS AND OTHER APPLICATIONS
The invention is based on the development of biolubricants from vegetable oils, more specifically refers to capric, caprylic, lauric, myristic, palmitic, stearic, oleic, linoleic, linolenic, ricinoleic, isooleic, isostearic, undecylenic fatty acids whose applications are for compressors in refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners, industrial compressors and as lubricants for the automotive line is provided. Such products are used in refrigeration compressors, more specifically in refrigerators and air conditioners, industrial compressors and lubricants for the small and large automotive sector. Due to the use of 90% renewable raw materials, the products are biodegradable, non-toxic and safe to be handled. These products, after use as lubricants, can be discarded due to their biodegradability or recovered to be used in other less rigid applications, such as for the production of polyester resins, polyols for the production of polyurethanes, or production of plasticizers for PVC, paints and varnishes.

LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR USING SAME, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Provided is a lubricating oil composition, including: a vegetable oil (A); a zinc dithiophosphate (B); and an amine-based antioxidant (C), wherein a total content of linoleic acid and linolenic acid among constituent fatty acids of the vegetable oil (A) is less than 20 mass % with respect to a total amount of the constituent fatty acids in the vegetable oil (A), wherein a content of the amine-based antioxidant (C) is 2.00 mass % or more with respect to a total amount of the lubricating oil composition, and wherein when the lubricating oil composition further includes a phosphorus-free phenol-based antioxidant (D), a content of the phosphorus-free phenol-based antioxidant (D) is less than 2.00 mass % with respect to the total amount of the lubricating oil composition.

Liquid and semisolid lubricant compositions, methods of making, and uses thereof
In one aspect, the disclosure relates to lubricant compositions comprising an oil, a wax, or a combination thereof, wherein at least one of the oil or the wax comprises a very long chain fatty acid; and wherein at least one of the oil or the wax has been modified to increase a concentration of the very long chain fatty acid relative to a reference concentration of the very long chain fatty acid in the oil or the wax without the modification. In a further aspect, the VLC FA can include one or more of eicosenoic acid, erucic acid, or nervonic acid.
