Pole having a tip spring mechanism
The invention relates to a pole, such as a Nordic walking pole, at the lower free end of which a tip body is provided, which has an end attachment, which is closed at the bottom and which has a central accommodating opening for accommodating a bottommost tube segment of the pole body. Furthermore, the tip body has an outer circumferential elastic elastomer spring element, which is connected axially above an upper end of the end attachment and which reaches around the bottommost tube segment of the pole body or a middle axial segment of the insertion element at least partially in the circumferential direction and which damps an axial relative motion of the bottommost tube segment of the pole body and/or of the insertion element in relation to the end attachment when an axial force is applied.
Cane end
The present disclosure is directed to a cane end having attachment means and force absorbing means. In some embodiments, the force absorbing means is a blade capable of deflecting, compressing, and/or flexing under load.
POLE HANDLE
The invention relates to a pole handle (1) for walking poles, trekking poles, alpine ski poles, cross-country ski poles or Nordic walking poles, comprising a length-adjustable hand strap (2), wherein the strap length is fixed using a blocking element arranged in the handle body. A first end of the hand strap is secured in a top section (4a) of the handle body (4), wherein a mid-section (2d) of the strap is introduced into a recess (6) of the handle body (4), is deflected about a deflection element (11) in the recess (6), and passes downwards out of the handle body as the free second end (2b). The blocking element is pressed onto a lower strap section (2e) in order to block the adjustability of the length of the hand strap.
Two-in-one weighted hand grip walking poles and curl bar and method of using the same
A method and apparatus for exercising are disclosed, including providing two apparatuses, each apparatus comprising: a hand grip body comprising a thumb recess and three or more finger recesses formed into the hand grip body; a weighted baton at least partially disposed within the hand grip body; a dual-purpose connector having a proximal end and a distal end, the dual-purpose connector comprising a coupling portion, wherein the proximal end of the dual-purpose connector is coupled to the weighted baton; and a walking pole coupled to the distal end of the dual-purpose connector; inverting an apparatus relative to the other; coupling the apparatuses together by the coupling portion; and grasping and using the coupled apparatuses to perform strengthening exercises, wherein the strengthening exercises is at least one of: an arm curl, a squat, a deadlift, an upward row, a shoulder flexion, and an overhead press. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
ADJUSTABLE GRIP SYSTEM FOR TREKKING POLES AND THE LIKE
An adjustable grip system configured for attachment to a pole which is intended for recreational or ambulatory use. The adjustable grip system provides adjustability of a grip in relation to longitudinal axis wherein the grip is adjustable in up to 3-degrees of freedom in relation to the pole portion and affixable in place once adjusted to the desired configuration.
A SET FOR MOTOR ACTIVITIES AND A SYSTEM FOR ACQUISITION AND PROCESSING OF DATA DETECTED BY THE SET FOR MOTOR ACTIVITIES AND CORRESPONDING OPERATING METHOD
Described is a set for motor activities including a first stick for walking and a second stick for walking; each stick includes one or more sensors for detecting respective physical characteristics, an electronic module provided with an electronic unit for detecting and recording data acquired by the sensor; each electronic unit is configured to receive an activation command for starting recording of the data acquired and a deactivation command for ending recording; the electronic units of the first stick and of the second stick are configured for communicating with each other using a wireless data transmission network; one of either of the two electronic units of the first stick and of the second stick, called the reference, or main, electronic unit, is configured to send to the other electronic unit, called the dependent, or secondary, electronic unit, a timestamp, at the start of data recording.
NORDIC WALKING POLE HAVING A BUFFER
The invention relates to a Nordic walking pole, comprising a pole tube (2), at the lower end of which an attachment (3) is provided, to which attachment a buffer (4) of rubber-elastic material is detachably fastened. The buffer according to the invention has an insert (5) of hard material in a central cut-out. Said insert is fastened to the attachment in order to connect the buffer to the pole.
Systems and methods for trekking pole weights
Systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for multi-segment weighted trekking poles are provided. A typical three-segment trekking (or other) pole may benefit from removable annular-shaped weights that may provide liquid storage and may be retained in position by one or more weight locks. The standard basket and tip protector may be replaced with a combined tip protector and basket element that threads onto a bottom segment of the pole.
GLOVE WITH LACING SYSTEM
A size-adjustable glove (1) which has a thumb covering (4) and at least one 5 first finger covering (5) that has a coupling element (25) in a saddle region between the thumb covering and the first finger covering. The coupling element isi suitable for releasably securing the glove to a coupling device 10 of a pole grip.
Fitness apparatus
An exercise apparatus is provided having a handle pivotally attached to a flat base, the base and handle having optional weights, the flat base providing resistance when the handle moves the base along a surface.
