The invention provides a composition comprising 1,1-difluoroethene (R-1132a), difluoromethane (R-32), 2,3,3,3-tetrafluoropropene (R-1234yf), optionally carbon dioxide (CO.sub.2, R-744), and, optionally, 1,1,2-trifluoroethene (R-1123).
Tetrafluoropropene-based composition
A composition including between 4 and 6 wt. % of difluoromethane, between 2.5 and 3.5 wt. % of pentafluoroethane, and between 91 and 93.5 wt. % of tetrafluoropropene. The use of the composition as replacement for R404A, R452A, R22, R134a, R245fa, R152a, R422, R502, R407A, R407F, R407C, R1234yf or R1234ze. A heat-transfer composition including the composition and at least one additive chosen from nanoparticles, stabilizing agents, surfactants, tracing agents, fluorescent agents, odorous agents, lubricants, and solubilizing agents.
Air conditioning refrigerant oil thermal additive
A composition comprising an orthoester and an organosilane, and in some embodiments, a metal deactivator, antioxidant, lubricant and/or corrosion inhibitor. Also, disclosed is use of the composition for use in increasing thermal conductivity of internal fluids in air conditioning and refrigerant systems.
STABILIZED FLUOROOLEFIN COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR THEIR PRODUCTION, STORAGE AND USAGE
The present invention relates to compositions comprising at least one fluoroolefin, HFC-32, and an effective amount of at least one inhibitor. The stabilized compositions may be useful in cooling and heating apparatus, such as refrigeration, air-conditioning, chillers, and heat pumps, as well as in applications as foam blowing agents, solvents, aerosol propellants, fire extinguishants, and sterilants.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR REFRIGERATOR
The invention addresses a problem of providing a lubricating oil composition for refrigerators excellent in thermal stability for a refrigerant that contains difluoromethane (R32), trifluoroiodomethane (CF.sub.3I) and at least one compound (α) selected from saturated fluorinated hydrocarbon compounds (HFC) except difluoromethane (R32). The lubricating oil composition for refrigerators is used for a refrigerant containing difluoromethane (R32), trifluoroiodomethane (CF.sub.3I) and at least one compound (α) selected from saturated fluorinated hydrocarbon compounds (HFC) except difluoromethane (R32), and contains at least one kind of base oil selected from polyoxyalkylene glycols, polyvinyl ethers, copolymers of a poly(oxy)alkylene glycol or a monoether thereof and a polyvinyl ether and polyol esters, in which the hydroxyl value of the base oil is 15 mgKOH/g or less.
Refrigerator oil and hydraulic fluid composition for refrigerators
A refrigerating machine oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 0.5 mm.sup.2/s or more and 2.5 mm.sup.2/s or less, a distillation end point in gas chromatography distillation of 380° C. or more and 450° C. or less, and a sulfur content of 0.001 mass % or more and 0.2 mass % or less.

The present invention relates to a refrigerant composition, including difluoromethane (HFC-32), pentafluoroethane (HFC-125), and trifluoroiodomethane (CF.sub.3I) for use in a heat exchange system, including air conditioning and refrigeration applications and in particular aspects to the use of such compositions as a replacement of the refrigerant R-410A for heating and cooling applications and to retrofitting heat exchange systems, including systems designed for use with R-410A.

A refrigeration apparatus includes a heat source unit, a utilization unit, and a liquid refrigerant pipe and gas refrigerant pipe. The utilization unit has utilization unit internal pipelines. The liquid refrigerant pipe and the gas refrigerant pipe connect the heat source unit and the utilization unit internal pipelines. A refrigerant circulates through the heat source unit, the utilization unit, the liquid refrigerant pipe, and the gas refrigerant pipe. The refrigerant contains a compound represented by a molecular formula having one or more carbon-carbon unsaturated bonds. A disproportionation inhibitor for reducing a disproportionation reaction of the refrigerant is applied to at least a part of inner surfaces of the liquid refrigerant pipe, the gas refrigerant pipe, and the utilization unit internal pipelines.
Stabilized heat transfer compositions, methods and systems
The present invention relates to heat transfer compositions comprising refrigerant, lubricant and stabilizer, wherein the refrigerant comprises 39 to 45% by weight difluoromethane (HFC-32), 1 to 4% by weight pentafluoroethane (HFC-125), and 51 to 57% by weight trifluoroiodomethane (CF.sub.3I), and wherein said lubricant comprises polyol ester (POE) lubricant and/or polyvinyl ether (PVE) lubricant, and wherein said stabilizer comprises an alkylated naphthalene and optionally but preferably an acid depleting moiety.
