APPLICATION OF COMPOUNDS IN CONTROLLING OR KILLING MITES
An application of a series of compounds in controlling or killing mites. It has been found by comparison that the compounds, when compared with a control group, can reduce the survival time of mites; in particular, taraxerol, diosmetin, and taraxasteryl acetate can significantly shorten the survival time of mites, and can be used for miticide and mite control products (such as drugs, cosmetic products, daily products and so on).
Attractants for rats
A rat attractant composition is disclosed which includes one or more isolated additives. The composition is attractive to at least rats of the species Rattus norvegicus. Devices including the rat attractant composition and methods of using a rat attractant composition are also disclosed.

RODENTICIDAL BAIT AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING TARGET HARMFUL RODENTS
The invention relates to a rodenticidal bait by ingestion for at least one target harmful rodent ingesting this bait for an ingestion period, called consumption time, imposed owing to said ingestion; the rodenticidal bait comprising: a composition, called composition of AVK(s), of at least one compound that inhibits vitamin K recycling; a composition, called vitamin D composition, of at least one hypercalcaemia-causing vitamin D, and at least one excipient that is edible for target harmful rodents;
characterized in that: said composition of AVK(s) is present in the rodenticidal bait in a proportion by weight, called proportion of AVK(s) by weight, that is not zero and is not lethal on its own for any target harmful rodent, and in that said vitamin D composition is present in the rodenticidal bait in a proportion by weight, called the proportion of vitamin D by weight: sufficient for said vitamin D composition to be lethal on its own for at least one target harmful rodent, and below a minimum proportion by weight sufficient for said vitamin D composition to be lethal on its own for any target harmful rodent. The invention also relates to the uses of a rodenticidal bait according to the invention and a method of controlling target harmful rodents.

USE OF DANDELION AND MONOMER COMPOUNDS THEREOF FOR KILLING MITES
Use of dandelion and monomer compounds thereof for preparing products for killing mites. Dandelion can reduce the survival time of mites. The dandelion monomers, especially taraxerol, diosmetin and taraxasterol acetate, can significantly shorten the survival time of demodex, and can be used for preparing products for killing and inhibiting mites.
TOPICAL CONJUGATES AND COMPOSITIONS
The present invention relates to a conjugate suitable for topical application to the skin of a user, the conjugate comprising at least one volatile active coupled directly or indirectly to a carrier substance, wherein the carrier substance is substantially resistant to permeation through the skin of a user under ambient conditions, and wherein the coupling between the active and the carrier substance is such that said coupling is cleaved under said ambient conditions when said conjugate has been applied to the skin of a user, so as to release said volatile active from said carrier substance in a sustained release manner. The present invention also relates to a composition including such a conjugate and also processes of preparing such conjugates and compositions.
