To provide a lubricating oil composition achieving both of high traction coefficient and excellent low temperature fluidity at a higher level and having a high flash point, which contains a naphthene-based synthetic oil (A) having a flash point of 140 C. or higher, a longifolene (B), and a predetermined monoester-based synthetic oil (C), a method for producing the lubricating oil composition, and a continuously variable transmission using the lubricating oil composition.
LUBRICATING OIL BASE OIL, LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION CONTAINING SAME, AND CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION USING SAID LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION
Provided are: a lubricant base oil capable of achieving both a high traction coefficient and an excellent low-temperature fluidity at a higher level and having a high flash point, which contains a ring-containing compound having at least (i) a crosslinked bicyclic ring where two rings are bonded while sharing 3 or more carbon atoms, and (ii) an acyloxy group or a hydrocarbyloxycarbonyl group each containing a branched hydrocarbon group with a main chain having 4 or more carbon atoms, a lubricating oil composition containing the lubricant base oil, and a continuously variable transmission using the lubricating oil composition.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF PRODUCING THE SAME
The lubricating oil composition includes a base oil and a fullerene adduct.
Lubricant oil composition for compression refrigerator
It is to provide a lubricating oil composition for a compression refrigerator, which is excellent in the thermal/chemical stability even when used in a compression refrigerator that uses a saturated fluorinated hydrocarbon refrigerant having a lower global warming potential and a fewer carbon atoms, by including in a base oil an organic compound having a double bond in a molecule, which is at least one kind selected from an organic compound having at least two non-conjugated double bonds in the molecule, a terpene compound having a double bond in the molecule, and C.sub.12 to C.sub.30 aliphatic unsaturated hydrocarbon having one double bond in the molecule.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITION, METHOD FOR PRODUCING LUBRICANT COMPOSITION, AND CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION
To provide a lubricating oil composition achieving both of high traction coefficient and excellent low temperature fluidity at a higher level and having a high flash point, which contains a naphthene-based synthetic oil (a) having a flash point of 140 C. or higher, and an ester (b) having 5 to 32 carbon atoms and having a branched chain, wherein the content of the naphthene-based synthetic oil (a) based on the total amount of the composition is 35% by mass or more and less than 80% by mass, a method for producing the lubricating oil composition, and a continuously variable transmission using the lubricating oil composition.
REFRIGERATION APPARATUS
A refrigeration apparatus includes a compressor, a first heat exchanger, an expansion mechanism, and a second heat exchanger. The compressor compresses low-pressure gas refrigerant and discharges high-pressure gas refrigerant. The first heat exchanger condenses high-pressure gas refrigerant and discharges high-pressure liquid refrigerant during an air-cooling operation, or evaporates low-pressure gas-liquid mixed refrigerant and discharges low-pressure gas refrigerant during an air-heating operation. The expansion mechanism has metal components. High-pressure liquid refrigerant passes through the expansion mechanism, and becomes low-pressure gas-liquid mixed refrigerant. The second heat exchanger evaporates low-pressure gas-liquid mixed refrigerant and discharges low-pressure gas refrigerant during an air-cooling operation, or condenses high-pressure gas refrigerant and discharges high-pressure liquid refrigerant during an air-heating operation. The refrigerant contains at least 60 wt % of R32. An acid scavenger added in an amount of 1.0 wt % to 5.0 wt % is blended in refrigerator oil for lubricating the compressor.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITION
A lubricant composition is disclosed. The lubricant composition provides lubrication between metal parts, is able to clean metal parts and prevent build-up of contaminants within the lubricant composition. The lubricant composition includes a plurality of heptane aliphatic hydrocarbons, a non-heptane aliphatic hydrocarbon, a naphthenic petroleum base oil, an octadecenoic acid, and an ethoxylated alcohol. The plurality of heptane aliphatic hydrocarbons may include one-third branched heptanes, one-third cyclic heptanes, and one-third linear n-heptane. The non-heptane aliphatic hydrocarbon may be any aliphatic hydrocarbon with fewer than six carbon atoms that are not linked in a ring formation. The octadecenoic acid in the lubricant composition is generally 9-octadecenoic acid.
