Further, the low zinc lubricating composition contains zinc in an amount less than 600 ppm by weight of the composition.

Process for the preparation of polyalkyl (meth)acrylate polymers
A novel process can be used for the preparation of polyalkyl (meth)acrylate polymers with improved compositional distribution, which leads to better producibility, solubility, and improved performance of the polymers in lubricant compositions, especially in engine oil formulations.
Hydraulic fluid composition
A hydraulic fluid includes an oil of lubricating viscosity and at least 2 wt. % of an ester of a carboxy group-containing interpolymer comprising units derived from a vinyl aromatic monomer and units derived from a carboxylic acid monomer. The interpolymer also contains nitrogen functionality. The hydraulic fluid is at least substantially free of polyacrylates and polymethacrylates.
Hydraulic fluid composition
A hydraulic fluid includes an oil of lubricating viscosity and at least 2 wt. % of an ester of a carboxy group-containing interpolymer comprising units derived from a vinyl aromatic monomer and units derived from a carboxylic acid monomer. The interpolymer also contains nitrogen functionality. The hydraulic fluid is at least substantially free of polyacrylates and polymethacrylates.
Composition and Method of Manufacturing Calcium Magnesium Sulfonate Greases
An overbased calcium magnesium sulfonate grease composition and method of manufacture comprising both overbased calcium sulfonate and overbased magnesium sulfonate in a ratio range of 60:40 to 100:1. The grease is made according to any known method for making an overbased calcium sulfonate grease by using the overbased magnesium sulfonate in addition to the overbased calcium sulfonate. A portion of the magnesium sulfonate may be added prior to conversion and another portion after conversion, with or without one or more delay periods between the addition of water or other reactive ingredient and the addition of magnesium sulfonate. The grease can be made using calcium hydroxyapatite and/or added calcium carbonate as calcium containing bases for reacting with complexing acids, a non-aqueous converting agent delay method, added alkali metal hydroxide, or any combination thereof. The grease has a high dropping point and reduced thickener yield.

Use of comb polymers for reducing fuel consumption
The present invention relates to the use of comb polymers comprising, in the main chain, repeat units which are derived from polyolefin-based macromonomers, and repeat units which are derived from low molecular weight monomers selected from the group consisting of styrene monomers having 8 to 17 carbon atoms, alkyl (meth)acrylates having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group, vinyl esters having 1 to 11 carbon atoms in the acyl group, vinyl ethers having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group, (di)alkyl fumarates having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group, (di)alkyl maleates having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group and mixtures of these monomers, where the molar degree of branching is in the range of 0.1 to 10 mol % and the comb polymer comprises a total of at least 80% by weight, based on the weight of the repeat units, of repeat units which are derived from polyolefin-based macromonomers and repeat units which are derived from low molecular weight monomers selected from the group consisting of styrene monomers having 8 to 17 carbon atoms, alkyl (meth)acrylates having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group, vinyl esters having 1 to 11 carbon atoms in the acyl group, vinyl ethers having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group, (di)alkyl fumarates having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group, (di)alkyl maleates having 1 to 10 carbon atoms in the alcohol group and mixtures of these monomers, for reducing the fuel consumption of vehicles.
