A convertible placemat and carrier having a generally planar flexible sheet with a center portion for supporting an object, preferably food and beverage products. The carrier also includes a plurality of spaced-apart slits arranged in a plurality of concentric rings extending radially outward from the center portion of the sheet. The remaining portion of the sheet between the slits is interconnected to form a lattice structure. The sheet is moveable from a flat planar configuration to an expanded configuration in the form of a carrier. An object is held in the center of the sheet and handle portions are moveable upwardly away from the center portion and the sheet expands via the lattice structure to form a carrier for holding the object placed in the center portion.

An expandable bag device is provided. The device is comprised of a bag-like body with an interior space with a capacity for items such as yoga mats. Additionally, the body features at least one mesh area for enhanced breathability and is expandable through the use of a zipper fastener that increases the storage capacity as needed. The device also offers at least one exterior pocket, which can be configured in multiple ways, including with elastic or non-elastic openings and expandable via mesh connectors for larger items. For carrying convenience, the device is equipped with at least one handle and a strap that can be adjusted in length, attached in different ways, and even divided into two for backpack-style wearing.

A backpack includes a bag portion and at least one shoulder strap coupled to the bag portion. The at least one shoulder strap includes a non-elastic first strap portion coupled to an elastic second strap portion. The second strap portion is auxetic or near auxetic such that a Poisson's ratio of the second strap portion is less than a Poisson's ratio of the first strap portion.

A mesh comprising a substantially planar open frame structure formed from a plurality of interlinked planar units, wherein the open frame structure is infinitely increasable in size by the addition of more units, the frame structure comprising three types of units: body units forming the centre/middle part of the frame structure, the body units adapted to interlink with at least 4 other units in the frame structure, peripheral units around the outside edge of the body units, each peripheral unit adapted to interlink with at least 3 other units in the frame structure, corner units at each corner of the outer periphery and therefore linking with peripheral units, each corner unit adapted to interlink with at least 2 other units in the structure, wherein each planar unit is a ring defining an inner opening, the outer surface of the ring supporting interlocking parts wherein a first interlocking part on a first ring arranged in the frame structure aligns and cooperates with a second complementary shaped interlocking part on a second adjacent ring arranged in the frame structure to thereby interlink the units to form the mesh.

A motorized luggage assembly includes a base unit that may contain objects and the base unit may be placed on a support surface. The base unit is structured to roll along the support surface. The base unit includes a mobility unit that is coupled to the base unit. The mobility unit is urges the base unit along the support surface. A tracking unit is coupled to the base unit. The tracking unit is operationally coupled to the mobility unit such that the tracking unit steers the mobility unit. A remote unit is provided and the remote unit may be worn. The remote unit is in communication with the base unit such that the base unit may follow the remote unit.

An interchangeable handbag system includes a stand alone foundation handbag having an inner storage accommodating surface and an outer decorative surface. The foundation handbag may have regions, such as a hollow interior, front panel, a rear panel and a bottom panel connected by at least one edge to form a hollow container open at a top end thereof. Alternately the foundation handbag may be a flexible open-top container with a closed bottom, where the hollow interior, front and rear regions are part of the continuous container. The handbag system includes one or more reversible and/or non-reversible outer bottomless band trim covers that fit over a portion of the foundation bag in a nested arrangement. The bottomless band trim covers may fit over a portion of the foundation bag and/or another bottomless band trim cover. A storage and transportation device for children's items (e.g., toys, puzzles, craft supplies, etc.) is specially designed to be used by children, including children under three years old. The storage solution may also include an improved zipper pull for opening and closing the storage and transportation device.

A reusable multi-access shopping bag apparatus is presented. The invention relates to a reusable, flat fold, multipurpose bag that is usable for carrying groceries, shopping/carrying, restaurant take out, or carrying any other desired type of items. The bag includes one or more flaps with fasteners on one or more of the front wall, back wall or side walls. The multi-access opening provides for direct vertical or horizontal access to items inside the bag.

A pet drying and cleaning bag is made of a piece of material having two opposite ends joined together to form an open-ended material. One of the unjoined ends is kept fully open while the other unjoined end is partially joined together, leaving an opening in at least a portion of this other unjoined end. This opening may be closable and may also be elastically expandable. Some embodiments of the pet drying bag may include closure mechanisms, such as zippers or hook and loop fasteners, to provide additional openings in the bag. The bag of the present invention may be made larger to act as a beach bag, towel, and privacy changing screen.
