An information handling system carrying soft case includes fabric forming an interior, such as within a backpack or briefcase form factor, and a sleeve disposed in the interior and sized to contain a portable information handling system housing. The sleeve has a rectangular cover of sufficient area to hold a portable information handling system and coupled to the fabric interior on three sides with an open mesh material at an interior of the sleeve and a corrugated foam at an exterior of the sleeve.
