DRY LUBRICANT FOR CONVEYING CONTAINERS
The passage of a container along a conveyor is lubricated by applying to the container or conveyor a mixture of a water-miscible silicone material and a water-miscible lubricant. The mixture can be applied in relatively low amounts, to provide thin, substantially non-dripping lubricating films. In contrast to dilute aqueous lubricants, the lubricants of the invention provide drier lubrication of the conveyors and containers, a cleaner conveyor line and reduced lubricant usage, thereby reducing waste, cleanup and disposal problems.
OLIGOMER, OLIGOMER-CONTAINING COMPOSITION, AND REFRIGERANT COMPOSITION CONTAINING FLUORINATED-HYDROCARBON-CONTAINING REFRIGERANT AND HAVING IMPROVED SLIDABILITY
The present disclosure provides a refrigerant composition comprising a refrigerant containing a fluorinated hydrocarbon, and having improved sliding properties for the sliding portions of vapor-compression refrigerating machines.
Specifically, the present disclosure provides a refrigerant composition comprising a refrigerant containing a fluorinated hydrocarbon, and an oligomer that is a polymer of a halogenated hydrocarbon, wherein (1) the fluorinated hydrocarbon comprises fluorinated ethylene, and (2) the oligomer is at least one of an oligomer A having a molecular weight of 200 to 900 that is a polymer of a halogenated hydrocarbon A represented by C.sub.2H.sub.aF.sub.bCl.sub.c, wherein a+b+c=4, a represents an integer of 0 to 3, b represents an integer of 1 to 4, and c represents an integer of 0 to 1, and an oligomer B having a molecular weight of 200 to 900 that is a polymer of a halogenated hydrocarbon B represented by C.sub.3H.sub.aF.sub.bCl.sub.c, wherein a+b+c=6, a represents an integer of 0 to 3, b represents an integer of 3 to 6, and c represents an integer of 0 to 1.

LUBRICANT COMPOSITION AND LUBRICATING METHOD
Provided is a lubricating oil composition containing a refined paraffinic mineral oil (A) and an alkylbenzene (B) having a flash point of 160 C. or higher, and having a flash point of 250 C. or higher. The lubricating oil composition has a high flash point of 250 C. or higher and has an excellent long lifetime to such an extent that the lubricating oil composition can maintain excellent oxidation stability even in long-term use in high-temperature environments.

An antifriction coating composition which comprises: a resin binder, a polyamide thickener, solvent and a solid lubricant wherein the resin binder comprises a mixture of phenolic resin, epoxy resin and optionally a silicone resin.
Intrinsic Low Friction Polyoxymethylene
A tribologically modified polyoxymethylene polymer composition is disclosed. The polyoxymethylene polymer composition is comprised of a polyoxymethylene polymer and at least one tribological modifier. The tribological modifier may comprise at least one tribological modifier comprising an ultra-high molecular weight silicone having a kinematic viscosity of greater than 100,000 mm.sup.2s.sup.1. The composition may exhibit a dynamic coefficient of friction against a counter-material of from about 0.01 to about 0.15. The polyoxymethylene polymer compositions provide polymer articles with improved tribological properties and mechanical properties.
