ANTIMICROBIAL COATING FOR LONG-TERM DISINFECTION OF SURFACES
Provided is an antimicrobial coating material comprising one or more biocides encapsulated in inorganic-organic shells. The antimicrobial coating material can be applied on porous materials or porous media to form and antimicrobial coating without changing the physical properties and the functions of porous materials or porous media. The coating provides a durable, multi-level antimicrobial performance at high temperature through contact-killing, release-killing, anti-adhesion and self-cleaning. Also provided is a method of producing the antimicrobial coating material.
HERBAL ESSENTIAL OIL FOR BIOMATERIAL PRESERVATION
Compositions and methods for inhibiting the decomposition of agricultural products are provided. A composition comprises a breathable sachet of cyclodextrin-encapsulated plant essential oils, such as thyme oil. Another composition comprises a mixture of a plant essential oil, protein, wax and glycerine used as a coating on at least one inner surface of a defined space such as a storage, shipping or delivery container or a flower sleeve. A method comprises addition of the composition to a defined space containing, or designed to contain, an agricultural product such as a fruit, vegetable or cut flower.

This invention relates to an antimicrobial master batch polymer composition comprising: (a) a thermoplastic alkyl polymer, and (b) an antimicrobial; as well as to a polymer composition comprising the antimicrobial master batch polymer composition and a thermoplastic alkyl polymer. This invention also relates to a fabric or moulded product comprising the polymer composition. In addition, the invention relates to a method of making the antimicrobial master batch polymer composition, comprising the steps of: (a) mixing the thermoplastic alkyl polymer powder with the antimicrobial powder, (b) melting the mixture, and (c) cooling the mixture.

SYNERGISTIC PRESERVATIVE COMPOSITIONS, PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE SAME AND METHOD OF USE THEREOF
Described herein is a synergistic preservative composition used for providing broad spectrum antimicrobial activity comprising: (i) about 0.1 wt. % to about 99.9 wt. % of propylene carbonate; (ii) about 0.1 wt. % to about 99.9 wt. % of one or more organic compounds selected from the group consisting of propanediol, capryl hydroxamic acid, and isopropyl methyl phenol; and (iii) about 0.1 wt. % to 99.0 wt. % of phenoxyethanol, a preservative compound, and wherein, the composition provides synergy having Synergy Index (SI) value of the total composition from about 0.05 to about 1.0. Also described is a process for preparing said synergistic preservative composition and method of using the same.

Disinfecting glove system
A disinfecting glove includes: a glove body that can be made of nitril rubber; a disinfecting pad that includes a pad body with a disinfecting agent applied and optionally an adhesive layer, a scrubbing portion, a cleaning portion, and dusting portions, such that the disinfecting pad can be detachably or permanently positioned on a palmar side of the glove body, such that the disinfecting glove can be used to clean and disinfect a surface. Also disclosed is a disinfecting glove system including a pair of glove assemblies, each including a glove container and a disinfecting glove; and a disinfecting system including a plurality of pairs of disinfecting gloves; and a plurality of disinfecting shoe covers, each including a shove cover body and a disinfecting pad.
