The present invention provides a low dispersant lubricating composition comprising (a) an oil of lubricating viscosity, (b) about 0.5 weight percent to 3.0 weight percent of an oxyalkylated hydrocarbyl-substituted phenol compound, (c) about 0.01 weight percent to 2.6 weight percent of a polyalkenylsuccinimide dispersant, and (d) about 0.05 weight percent to 2.0 weight percent of a polyolefin dispersant viscosity modifier, and wherein the lubricating composition contains zinc in an amount less than about 700 ppm by weight of the composition.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A lubricating oil composition comprising a GTL (Gas to-Liquid) base oil synthesized by the Fischer-Tropsch process and a viscosity index improver, wherein the content of the viscosity index improver is 0.1 to 20 mass %, and at least HTHSV 50 C./HTHSV 150 C. is 6.50 or less and KV 50 C./HTHSV 150 C. is 8.00 or less.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE
A lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine, the composition including: a lubricating base oil comprising at least one mineral base oil or at least one synthetic base oil or any combination thereof, the lubricating base oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100 C. of 4.0 to 4.5 mm.sup.2/s and a NOACK evaporation loss at 250 C. of no more than 15 mass %; (A) a calcium-containing metallic detergent in an amount of no less than 1000 mass ppm and less than 2000 mass ppm in terms of calcium on the basis of the total mass of the composition; and optionally (C) a viscosity index improver in an amount of less than 1 mass % on the basis of the total mass of the composition.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION
The present invention relates to a lubricating oil composition and a continuously-variable transmission filled with the lubricating oil composition. The present invention also relates to a friction control method for a continuously-variable transmission, the method using the lubricating oil composition. This lubricating oil composition is characterized by containing: (A) a base oil; (B) a diamine; (C) a glycolic acid amide; and (D) a phosphorous ester. With this lubricating oil composition, it is possible to provide different wear characteristics between different parts, so in a preferable embodiment of the present invention, the lubricating oil composition is suitably used as a lubricating oil for variable transmissions, in particular, metal-belt continuously-variable transmissions.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION FOR SHOCK ABSORBER
Provided is a lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber, the lubricating oil composition being capable of emitting fluorescence by ultraviolet irradiation while ensuring thermal stability and abrasion resistance. This lubricating oil composition for a shock absorber contains, as components: (A) a base oil; (B) a hydrocarbon compound having a stilbene structure; and (C) a phosphite ester.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION, VISCOSITY MODIFIER FOR LUBRICATING OIL, AND ADDITIVE COMPOSITION FOR LUBRICATING OIL
An object of the present invention is to provide a lubricating oil composition particularly excellent in viscosity characteristics at a low temperature. The present invention provides: a lubricating oil composition including a polymer (A) and a base oil (B), wherein the polymer (A) satisfies the following requirement (A-1), and the content ratio of the polymer (A) and the base oil (B) is such that the ratio of a resin (A) is within the range of from 0.1 to 50 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the total amount of the polymer (A) and the base oil (B). (A-1) The polymer (A) is a polymer containing a structural unit derived from an -olefin having 20 or less carbon atoms.
SEALED REFRIGERANT COMPRESSOR AND REFRIGERATION DEVICE INCLUDING SAME
A sealed refrigerant compressor (100) includes: a compression element (107) accommodated in a sealed container (101) and configured to compress a refrigerant; and an electric element (106) configured to drive the compression element (107). Lubricating oil (103) is stored in the sealed container (101). The lubricating oil (103) is mixed oil constituted by at least mineral oil and synthetic oil. Kinetic viscosity of the lubricating oil (103) at 40 C. falls within a range of 0.1 to 5.1 mm.sup.2/s, and a flash point of the lubricating oil (103) is 110 C. or more.

The present application relates to a lubricant composition comprising: at least one base oil; from 0.05 to 1.5% by weight of an organomolybdenum compound; and from 0.005 to 1% by weight of TiO.sub.2 particles.
Tire lubricant
A non-water-based tire lubricant includes a thickening agent and a thinning agent. The thickening agent may be a silicone grease, hydrotreated light petroleum distillates, or hydrogenated liquid rosin ester, and the thinning agent may be a blend of petroleum distillates and additives or a silicone liquid. The tire lubricant has a pliable consistency, is easier to apply and use than standard tire lubricants, allows the tire to seal at much lower pressures, and is not water-based so that nitrogen concentrations inside the tire are maintained at 100 percent.
