Lubricating composition for preventing or reducing abnormal combustion in an engine
The present patent application relates to the use of a lubricating composition comprising one or more base oils and at least one spiro compound with the following formula (I)
##STR00001## in which M is an atom selected from boron and aluminum; R, independently of one another, represents a hydrocarbon group comprising from 1 to 50 carbon atoms; and n1 and n2, independently of one another, equal 0, 1 or 2; in order to prevent and/or reduce the abnormal consumption of fuel in an engine lubricated by means of said lubricating composition, in particular in a gas-powered engine.
SPIRO COMPOUND AS DETERGENT ADDITIVE IN LUBRICANTS FOR MOTORIZATION SYSTEMS
The present patent application relates to the use, as detergent additive in a lubricating composition intended for a motorization system, of a spiro compound of formula (I)
##STR00001## in which M is an atom selected from boron and aluminum; R, independently of one another, represent a hydrocarbon group comprising from 1 to 50 carbon atoms; and n1 and n2, independently of one another, equal 0, 1 or 2.
It also relates to a lubricating composition intended for the lubrication of a motorization system, comprising one or more base oils and at least one spiro compound of formula (I), and to a process for lubricating a motorization system using such a composition.

LUBRICATING-OIL COMPOSITION
By using a lubricating oil composition containing (1) a base oil comprising a base oil A having a kinematic viscosity at 100 C. of 2 mm.sup.2/s or more and 7 mm.sup.2/s or less and a viscosity index of 120 or less, (2) at least one selected from an acrylate-based polymer and an olefin-based polymer each having a mass average molecular weight of 40,000 or less, and (3) a lubricating oil additive comprising a sulfur-based extreme pressure agent; and having a kinematic viscosity at 100 C. of more than 9.3 mm.sup.2/s and 12.5 mm.sup.2/s or less and a high temperature high shear viscosity at 150 C. of 2.9 mPa.Math.s or more, a lubricating oil composition capable of making both a lowering in viscosity for fuel saving properties and fatigue resistance for improvement of fatigue life compatible with each other and also having excellent low-temperature viscosity properties is provided.
GREASE COMPOSITION AND ROLLING BEARING
A grease composition containing base oil, a thickener, and an additive, wherein said additive contains at least one kind selected from among a phosphite ester shown by a chemical formula (1) or a phosphite ester shown by a chemical formula (2); a content of said phosphite ester is 0.5 to 4 parts by weight for 100 parts by weight which is a total of an amount of said base oil and that of said thickener; and said additive contains neither phosphite esters other than said phosphite ester shown by said formula (1) or by said formula (2) nor phosphate esters having organic groups whose carbon number is not less than three:
