Shock absorber oil composition
A shock absorber oil composition of the invention includes a base oil: (A) at least one of phosphate, amine phosphate salt, phosphite and amine phosphite salt; (B) an amide compound; and (C) a primary amine.
METHOD FOR IMPROVING THE AIR RELEASE OF A LUBRICATING OIL IN A HYDRAULIC SYSTEM
The invention provides a method for improving the air release of a lubricating oil in a hydraulic system, said method comprising supplying the lubricating oil to the hydraulic system. The air release is measured according to ASTM D3427.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITION AND LUBRICATING METHOD
Provided is a lubricating oil composition containing a refined paraffinic mineral oil (A) and an alkylbenzene (B) having a flash point of 160 C. or higher, and having a flash point of 250 C. or higher. The lubricating oil composition has a high flash point of 250 C. or higher and has an excellent long lifetime to such an extent that the lubricating oil composition can maintain excellent oxidation stability even in long-term use in high-temperature environments.
Fluorescent Fluid For Detecting Fluid Injection
A fluorescent solution is disclosed for use in a hydraulic or diesel fluid to facilitate detection of injection of the hydraulic of diesel fluid into a human. The fluorescent solution includes a fluorescent dye and a stabilizing agent. The stabilizing agent may be a surfactant. A hydraulic fluid mixture is also disclosed which includes a fluorescent solution and a hydraulic fluid.
EXTRACTION OF PLATELET-LIKE PARTICLES FROM AQUEOUS TO NON-AQUEOUS MEDIA
The invention relates to a method for preparing a dispersion of platelet-like particles in a non-aqueous medium. The method comprises combining a dispersion of said particles in water with the non-aqueous medium to provide a mixture comprising the non-aqueous medium, water and the particles, and then removing the water from the mixture.
WORKING OIL FOR HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER, AND HYDRAULIC SHOCK ABSORBER
[Problem]
Provided is an operating oil for shock absorber in which influences against rubber materials are controlled.
[Solution]
An operating oil coming into contact with a rubber material, the operating oil containing a polyalkylene glycol and at least one base oil selected from a fatty acid diester, a poly-alfa-olefin, and a lubricating oil classified as GIII in American Petroleum Institute (API).
[Effect]
According to the operating oil, in view of the fact that swelling properties of a rubber material, such as a seal material, etc., are reduced, conventionally used rubber materials can be used without being changed.
BIODEGRADABLE COATINGS AND PAINTS
Disclosed herein are biodegradable coating and paint compositions comprising 1,3-propanediol, wherein the 1,3-propanediol in said biodegradable composition has a bio-based carbon content of about 1% to 100%. In addition, it is preferred that the 1,3-propanediol be biologically-derived, and wherein upon biodegradation, the biologically-derived 1,3-propanediol contributes no anthropogenic CO2 emissions to the atmosphere.
Seal compatibility additive to improve fluoropolymer seal compatibility of lubricant compositions
This disclosure is directed to an additive package for a lubricant composition that provides improved compatibility with fluoropolymer seals. The additive package comprises a seal compatibility additive. The disclosure is also directed to a lubricant composition comprising a base oil and a seal compatibility additive. The seal compatibility additive improves the compatibility with fluoropolymer seals of the resultant lubricant composition.
PHOSPHATE COMPOSITION
A process for the preparation of a composition comprising amine-containing phosphate glycerides including: phosphorylating a solution which comprises mixed glycerides that contain fatty acid portions and an amine under conditions which are substantially water-free and under which said phosphorous pentoxide reacts with reactive constituents in said solution to form said amine-containing phosphate glycerides and a lubricating composition comprising a lubricant, the aforesaid composition in an amount which improves the properties of the lubricating composition, and optionally one or more other constituents which improve the properties of the lubricating composition.
LUBRICATING OIL COMPOSITION
The lubricating oil composition of the present invention contains a base oil, a 2,6-di-tert-butylphenol (A), and at least one compound (B) selected from a benzotriazole compound and a sorbitan compound.
