SMART LUGGAGE SYSTEM
A smart luggage apparatus includes a case assembly with at least a stowage compartment. A smart handle assembly is mounted to a case assembly. The smart handle assembly includes a controller having a power supply and further powered by one or more battery, where one battery is located in the handle and a second battery is located in the stowage compartment. A smart luggage apparatus also includes a one or more scale that communicates with the smart handle controller and transmits the weight of the case assembly.
SELF-WEIGHING LUGGAGE DEVICE
A self-weighing luggage device comprises a housing with a towing handle at one end and four wheel units mounted at the other end. Four weight determining sensors are incorporated into the wheel units, respectively. Each weight determining sensor is wired to a central circuit board, which is mounted on the inner surface of other end at position. The central circuit board is connected to a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) mounted in a recess in the handle end of the housing, which recess is adapted to receive the handle in a stowed position, such that the LCD is protected by the handle. In use, the self-weighing luggage device is stood on the ground on the four wheel units and the weight readings from each weight determining sensor are combined to give the total weight of the self-weighing luggage device, which total weight is displayed on the LCD.
Carrier with foldable wheels
Disclosed is a device for turning rotatable rods for folding or unfolding wheels of a carrier, the device comprising: a pair of rotatable rods, each of which comprises one or more helical lines; a cross bar comprising helical line coupling portions coupled to one or more helical lines, and one or more elastic members, which provide restoring forces to the cross bar.
Air cell castor
A castor includes a wheel support and at least one roller mounted on the wheel support. The at least one roller has a peripheral portion provided with a hollow air chamber which is provided with a plurality of hollow air columns. One of the hollow air columns is provided with an air inlet. The at least one roller is made of soft material that is made by a blow molding operation. The soft material is initially made into a tubular blank by a blow molding machine. A gas is then filled into the soft material to blow and shape the soft material in a die at a high temperature to form the at least one roller. The at least one roller is then stripped from the die.

Luggage article with cantilevered wheel bracket having elongated arms
A luggage article may include a plurality of walls together defining an outer structure of the luggage article, a wheel bracket attached to and extending from one of the walls, and a wheel attached to the wheel bracket. The wheel bracket may comprise first and second elongate arms extending along a common side of the wheel. The first and second arms may be vertically-spaced apart from one another over at least a portion of the length of the first and second arms. The configuration of the wheel bracket may result in higher shock absorption and reduced wheel noise comparative to conventional wheel brackets, and offer an improvement and alternative to conventional luggage wheel brackets.
Collapsible laundry and accessory basket with wheeled and carryable configurations
A wheeled enclosure having an interior volume defining body including a rigid base and a plurality of upwardly extending and flexible sides. A plurality of wheeled supports are incorporated into the rigid base. A telescoping handle extends from a rear of the body and may be secured to an edge of the rigid base. Other features include the provision of rigid inserts which are seated within vertical pockets integrated into each of four interconnecting sides associated with a flexible body. The flexible body can include an upper half which reverse folds into an interior defined by the lower half and the rigid inserts. The rigid base can also be foldable and can convert the assembly between expanded use and collapsed storage positions.
STABILIZED LUGGAGE
A stabilized luggage article is disclosed. In one practice, the luggage article comprises a plurality of swiveling wheel assemblies, each assembly comprising one or more wheels having a horizontal axis of rotation and mounted to a pivot member, such as a pivot post that has a vertical axis of wheel rotation; the vertical axis of rotation is laterally spaced from the horizontal axis of rotation and is projected outwardly toward the front wall of the luggage but not beyond it, the pivot post extending downwardly at least to the level of the horizontal axis of wheel rotation, preferably beyond it for further increased stability.
Automatic Following Luggage System
A luggage system is provided. The luggage system comprises at least one piece of luggage with the at least one piece of luggage having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a plurality of side surfaces. A plurality of wheels are mounted on the bottom surface of the at least one piece of luggage. A motor is associated with each of the wheels. An activatable sensor is positioned on the top surface of the at least one piece of luggage and a wearable device communicates with the sensor. Upon activation of the sensor, the motors associated with each of the wheels are energized causing the at least one piece of luggage to move in a general direction toward the wearable device. The at least one piece of luggage moves independently without manual transporting of the at least one piece of luggage.
