USE OF A LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR LUBRICATING WORK TOOL
A method for lubricating a work tool, including providing a lubricant composition, the lubricant composition including 72 wt. % to 95 wt. % polyalphaolefin and 5 wt. % to 28 wt. % lithium soap, each in relation to a total weight of the lubricant composition. The method further includes lubricating the work tool with the lubricant composition, the work tool being used to process, package, produce, portion, pick, put together, store, obtain and/or convey foodstuffs, luxury foods, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and/or feedstuffs. The content of metallocene-catalyzed polyalphaolefin is at least 10 wt. % in relation to the total weight of the lubricant composition, and/or the content of acid-catalyzed polyalphaolefin is at least 10 wt. % in relation to the total weight of the lubricant composition.
LUBRICANT COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF DRY LUBRICATING SURFACE USING THE SAME
A lubricant composition comprises vegetable oil; nonionic surfactant; water in an amount of from about 0% to about 15% by weight based on total weight of the composition; optionally biocide; and optionally chelating agent, wherein the weight ratio of vegetable oil to nonionic surfactant is in a range of from about 1:1 to about 9:1. Also disclosed is a lubricant composition that comprises about 40% to about 90% by weight of vegetable oil; from about 10% to about 40% by weight of nonionic surfactant; from about 0% to about 15% by weight of based on total weight of the composition; optionally biocide; and optionally chelating agent. The disclosed lubricant compositions may further comprise the ester of fatty alcohol. Furthermore, a method of dry lubricating surface using the lubricant composition is disclosed.
LUBRICATION OF TRANSFER PLATES USING AN OIL OR OIL IN WATER EMULSIONS
This disclosure relates to transfer plate lubricant compositions and methods of transporting open containers across stationary transfer plates.
Lubricant compositions and methods for using the same
A lubricant composition with improved stability and tolerance for water hardness comprises a synthetic wax emulsion; an amine derivative; an emulsifier; and a sequestrant. The synthetic wax emulsion may include poly(ethyleneoxide)-based or poly(propyleneoxide)-based wax emulsions. The amine derivative may include alkyl C.sub.12-C.sub.14 oxy propyl diamine. The lubricant composition can be used for lubricating the passage of a container along a conveyor. The method includes applying the lubricant composition to at least a part of the container or the conveyor in an application cycle, where the application cycle includes a first period of time of dispensing the lubricant composition and a second period of time of not dispensing the lubricant composition.
Lubricant composition and use thereof
A lubricant composition comprising an oil-soluble polyalkylene glycol; an ester compound selected from the group of natural esters and synthetic esters, and combinations thereof; and an additive mixture comprising an antioxidant and an anticorrosive, wherein the anticorrosive is selected from neutral alkali metal and alkaline earth metal salts of sulfonic acids, carboxylic acids, naphthoic acids, naphthenic acids, benzoic acids and phosphoric acids, and derivatives and combinations thereof.
Conveyor lubricants including emulsion of a lipophilic compound and an emulsifier and/or an anionic surfactant and methods employing them
The present invention relates to conveyor lubricant compositions including an emulsion of a lipophilic compound and also including an emulsifier and/or an anionic surfactant. The present invention also relates to methods employing such lubricant compositions. In an embodiment, the method includes applying the present lubricant composition to a conveyor with a non-energized nozzle.
Lubrication of transfer plates using an oil or oil in water emulsions
This disclosure relates to transfer plate lubricant compositions and methods of transporting open containers across stationary transfer plates.
