GRAPHENE COATING COMPOSITION FOR WIPER BLADE AND METHOD FOR COATING WIPER BLADE USING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a graphene coating composition for a wiper blade and a method for coating a wiper blade using the same. More particularly, the present disclosure relates to a graphene coating composition for a wiper blade that may improve durability and an abrasion resistance of the wiper blade, and a method for coating a wiper blade using the same.
Oilfield drilling lubricant for water-based and oil-based systems
This disclosure provides compositions comprising a suspension package, wherein the suspension packaging consists of solids for suspending in one or more liquids, wherein the solids comprise at least one of: (1) diamond dust, nano-diamonds, or combinations thereof; (2) tungsten; (3) graphite, graphene, or combinations thereof; and (4) silicon carbide. Further, 0.25% through 6% by volume of the composition, with the one or more liquids being present, in a 14.0 ppg aqueous CaBr.sub.2 solution, provides a coefficient of friction of less than 0.06 at a temperature between 250° F. and 400° F. at any time up through 10 minutes after combination of the 0.25% through 6% by volume of the composition to the 14.0 ppg aqueous CaBr.sub.2.
Rapid Cure Silicone Lubricious Coatings
Novel, lubricious coatings for medical devices are disclosed. The coatings provide improved lubricity and durability, and are readily applied in coating processes. The present invention is also directed to a novel platinum catalyst for use in such coatings. The catalyst provides for rapid curing, while inhibiting cross-linking at ambient temperatures, thereby improving the production pot life of the coatings.

Threaded tubular connection provided with a metallic coating on the threading and on the sealing surface
A threaded tubular connection for drilling or operating hydrocarbon wells contains a portion of a tubular element with a male end having an axis of revolution and provided with a first threading extending about the axis of revolution, the male end portion being complementary with a portion of a tubular element with a female end having an axis of revolution and provided with a second threading extending about the axis of revolution, the male and female end portions being capable of being connected by makeup, each of the male and female end portions further comprising a sealing surface with a metal-metal interference, wherein the threading and the sealing surfaces of the male and female end portions are coated with a metallic anti-corrosion and anti-galling layer wherein zinc (Zn) is the major element by weight. One of the metallic anti-corrosion and anti-galling layers is coated with a passivation layer and the other is at least partially coated with a lubricant layer.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING DURABLE LUBRICIOUS SURFACES VIA INTERFACIAL MODIFICATION
Embodiments described herein relate generally to systems and methods for creating durable lubricious surfaces (DLS) via interfacial modification. The DLS can be prepared via a combination of a solid, a liquid, and an additive that modifies the interface between the DLS and a contact liquid, resulting in an interfacial layer that acts as a lubricant and/or protective coating between the DLS and the contact liquid. The lubricating effect created between the additive and the contact liquid results in enhanced slipperiness, as well as the protective properties that can help with durability of the DLS.
A STABILIZED LUBRICANT COMPOSITION FOR CONTINUOUS CASTING PROCESSES
Described herein is a stabilized lubricant composition for use in steel casting, in particular in continuous casting processes. In particular, the lubricant composition for processes for producing steel by continuous casting includes a dispersion of a lubricant powder, for an ingot mold, in continuous casting, in an oily liquid means, and a stabilization additive, characterized in that it has the following shear thinning index values:
TABLE-US-00001 RVT 0.1/1 1/10 10/100 100/1000 STI 3.0-7.5 2.0-6.5 1.0-3.0 0.5-2.0 wherein RVT is the ratio between two different shear speeds and STI is the shear thinning index corresponding to the RVT values.
Lubricating composition based on carbon nanotori
A carbon nanotori-based lubricant composition for tribological applications, specifically for use in machining operations, which includes distilled water and a specific content of carbon nanotori having specific properties, which make them suitable for proper dispersal in distilled water without precipitation and remaining stable for a long time in dispersion without the need to add surfactants.
METHODS FOR PRODUCING BORON NITRIDE CONTAINING FLUIDS
The present invention provides a method of producing a boron nitride containing fluid comprising the steps of: providing boron nitride; oxidising the boron nitride to functionalise the surface of the boron nitride; and dispersing the oxidised boron nitride in a base fluid to produce the boron nitride containing fluid. Associated boron nitride containing fluids and its use are also disclosed.
