METHOD FOR COMPOUND STRENGTHENING TREATMENT OF GEAR SURFACE
Disclosed is a method for a compound strengthening treatment of a gear surface, belonging to the technical field of gear surface treatment, including following steps: firstly, performing a compound shot peening treatment on the gear surface, and then performing molybdenum disulfide micro-particle thermal spraying on the obtained gear surface to complete the compound strengthening treatment on the gear surface.
Stabilized Medium Chain Triglyceride-Based Lubricant
Household lubricant compositions containing medium chain triglycerides are non-toxic and biodegradable. The lubricant compositions are made using vegetable oil components and stabilized using alcohol, an antioxidant, and a metal chelator. The lubricant compositions offer safe and environmentally friendly alternatives to petroleum-based lubricants, yet have similar lubricity and are more stable than naturally sourced vegetable oils. The compositions also can be used to clean and coat surfaces, including food preparation surfaces, and to prevent corrosion. Still further uses include sterilization and sanitation of surfaces and as a skin conditioner and lubricant.
FLAME-RESISTANT ADDITIVES FOR OIL-BASED PRODUCTS AND OIL-BASED PRODUCTS CONTAINING FLAME-RESISTANT ADDITIVES
The present disclosure relates to an additive for a multi-use oil-based flame-resistant organic fluid for safely releasing corroded joints and fasteners and other general use purposes. The oil-based organic fluid includes a flame-resistant additive such as a carboxylated aromatic compound, which has a self-extinguishing effect on an arc of flame. The inclusion of carboxylated aromatic compounds release carbon dioxide when heated, causing the material to extinguish itself during ignition to resist catching on fire.
LUBRICATING COMPOSITIONS FOR PREVENTING OR REDUCING ABNORMAL COMBUSTION IN A MOTOR VEHICLE ENGINE
Disclosed is a method for preventing and/or reducing abnormal combustion of fuel in a motor vehicle engine that includes the use of a lubricating composition including at least one base oil and at least one fatty amine.
DRY LUBRICANT FOR CONVEYING CONTAINERS
The passage of a container along a conveyor is lubricated by applying to the container or conveyor a mixture of a water-miscible silicone material and a water-miscible lubricant. The mixture can be applied in relatively low amounts, to provide thin, substantially non-dripping lubricating films. In contrast to dilute aqueous lubricants, the lubricants of the invention provide drier lubrication of the conveyors and containers, a cleaner conveyor line and reduced lubricant usage, thereby reducing waste, cleanup and disposal problems.
Biopolymer-based emulsion lubricants for syringe barrels
A stable biopolymer-based emulsion lubricant including Agar is provided to reduce the friction between a syringe barrel plunger and the interior surface of the syringe barrel. According to exemplary embodiments the emulsion has a friction of less than 4N, the emulsion is temperature stable in a range of 4-23 degrees Celsius and the emulsion is stable for a period of at least 60 days.
NON-FLAMMABLE AEROSOL MULTIUSE INVERT EMULSION LUBRICANT
Stable water-in-oil emulsions suitable for use as fire-resistant aerosol multipurpose lubricants. The water-in-oil emulsion comprises a synthetic ester base oil, compatible invert emulsifier, water, and a preservative. The aerosol apparatus employs a larger than standard stem orifice to produce a non-flammable aerosol.
AQUEOUS SUSPENSION AND CUTTING FLUID INCLUDING THE SAME
Proposed is an aqueous suspension including water, a hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) particle, and a dispersant. A cutting fluid prepared by diluting the aqueous suspension with water is also proposed. The hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) particle is a hydrophilic particle that is wettable with water. The hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) particle has a particle size D50 of 30 to 250 nm and a particle size D90 of 1 um or less for a primary particle and a secondary particle through an application of ultrasound for 24 hours. The hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) particle is synthesized at a temperature of 1600? C. or lower. The hexagonal boron nitride (hBN) particle is mixed with water at a weight ratio of 10 or less, and the dispersant is mixed at a weight ratio of 10 or less.
Methods of using a dry lubricant
Methods are provided for reducing noise, sticking, and/or friction using a dry lubricant. The methods provide for application of a friction- and/or noise-reducing composition. The methods reduce friction, and/or noise for multiple applications. The methods also provide for reducing adherence of undesirable materials to articles.
Methods of bonding using evaporation operative materials having low environmental impact
A method of bonding two surfaces by delivering to at least one of the surfaces an adhesive composition comprising: (a) at least one active bonding component; and (b) a carrier in an amount effective to at least partially solvate or at least partially emulsify said active bonding component, said carrier comprising monochlorotrifluoropropene, and then forming a bond between the surfaces.
