An oil extractor that includes: a main body housing; a motor; a feed hopper detachably coupled to the upper end of the main body housing to feed grain; a shell that communicates with the lower end of the feed hopper to receive the grain and is detachably coupled to one side of the main body housing; a screw shaft inserted into the shell and having an end portion that passes through one side of the main body housing and is coupled to the motor; a fastening means for detachably coupling the shell to the main body housing; and a shell cover surrounding the shell. The shell cover has a groove formed on its lower portion for receiving the shell and is supported by the main body housing and moves between a first position at which the shell is covered and a second position at which the shell is exposed.

Method for Preparing Dehydrated Avocados by Microwave Drying

The present invention concerns a method for preparing dehydrated avocados, a method for preparing an unsaponifiable-rich avocado oil, a method for preparing an avocado cake rich in sugars and proteins, and a method for preparing an unsaponifiable fraction; these methods all comprising a step of drying avocado slices by means of microwaves until dehydrated avocados are obtained having residual moisture less than or equal to 5%; during this step, the water evaporated under the action of the microwaves being eliminated by a warm air stream with a temperature less than or equal to 80° C. and/or by air extraction.

Produce oil extraction

An oil recovery extraction system includes a feeding and weighing system to weigh fruit and feed the fruit to an oil recovery extractor; extraction rollers that perforate a surface of the fruit to allow oil to flow out from the surface into the emulsion extractor reservoir; and a fruit washing system to spray the fruit with potable water to wash oil remaining on the fruit after the fruit has left the oil emulsion extractor reservoir; wherein an oil-water emulsion from the oil emulsion extractor and an oil-water emulsion from the fruit washing system are combined into an oil-emulsion; and a process control system to measure and control operational parameters of the machine, including calculating a setpoint feed flow of the fruit, then measuring and controlling the feed flow of fruit based on the setpoint, and further calculating a setpoint flow of potable water, heavy phase, then measuring and controlling the flows.
