Microalgae Aurantiochytrium sp. LA3 (KCTC12685BP) and Method for Preparing Bio-Oil Using the Same
Provided herein are microalgae of a Thraustochytrid and a method for preparing bio-oil using the same, and more particularly, Aurantiochytrium sp. LA3 (KCTC12685BP) having bio-oil producibility, and a method of preparing bio-oil, particularly bio-oil having a content of omega-3 unsaturated fatty acids of 30% by weight or more based on total fatty acids, characterized by culturing the microalgae. The microalgae Aurantiochytrium sp. LA3 (KCTC12685BP) described herein has a rapid sugar consumption rate when being cultured using glucose as a carbon source, has a high oil content, allows cells to be cultured at a high concentration, and allows oil to be obtained in high productivity and a high yield, and thus, may produce bio-oil more economically and environmentally friendly.
COIX SEED OIL CONTAINING 11 TRIGLYCERIDES, AND PHARMACEUTICAL PREPARATION AND USE THEREOF
The present invention relates to Coix seed oil extracted from Semen Coicis, pharmaceutical preparations thereof, and the use thereof in the treatment of tumors. Specifically, the Coix seed oil contains 11 triglyceride ingredients in the following mass percentages: trilinolein 4.87-6.99%, 1-olein-2,3-dilinolein 13.00-18.69%, 1-palmitin-2,3-dilinolein 5.25-7.54%, 1,3-diolein-2-linolein 13.23-19.02%, 1-palmitin-2-linolein-3-olein 10.26-14.75%, 1,3-dipalmitin-2-linolein 2.28-3.28%, triolein 14.44-20.76% and 1-palmitin-2,3-diolein 8.06-11.58%, 1-olein-2-linolein-3-stearin 1.37-1.97%, 1,3-dipalmitin-2-olein 1.52-2.19% and 1,2-diolein-3-stearin 1.29-1.86%.
Continuous System and Process for Treating a Low-Water Biomass Stream with Liquefied-Gas Solvent to Separate and Recover Organic Products
A method and system for the treatment of a biomass stream to separate organic extracts/biomolecules (such as proteins, lipids and/or carotenoids) from the biomass stream, wherein the water content of the biomass stream is decreased by bringing the biomass stream into contact with a compressed liquefied gas solvent, to create a low-water content biomass stream and introducing the low-water content biomass stream to an extraction apparatus that recovers one or more organic products with little or no measurable solvent residue.
METHOD FOR THE PURIFICATION OF LECITHIN
A method for the purification of lecithin, comprising the steps of: a. reducing the viscosity of lecithin to a viscosity of less than about 10 Pa.Math.s; than b. mixing the lecithin with granulated active carbon; then c. separating the lecithin from the granulated active carbon and recover purified lecithin. Lecithin substantially free of poly-aromatic hydrocarbons, and a food or feed product comprising said lecithin.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING VITAMIN E-ENRICHED, ESPECIALLY TOCOTRIENOL-ENRICHED, COMPOSITIONS FROM NATURAL OILS
The present disclosure relates generally to a process for manufacturing products enriched in the content of at least one vitamin E component, preferably tocotrienol, using solvent extraction and membrane filtration.
Composition for enzymatic oil degumming
The invention relates to a composition comprising at least one phospholipid-cleaving enzyme. The invention further relates to a method for degumming raw oils using the composition according to the invention and to the use of the composition according to the invention to degum raw oils.
PROCESS FOR SEPARATING PLANT OIL FROM ONE OR MORE BIOREFINERY PROCESS COMPOSITIONS, AND RELATED COMPOSITIONS AND SYSTEMS
Methods of separating plant oil from at least one biorefinery process composition. The methods include separating wet cake via one or more presses configured to separate wet cake into pressate and press cake. Optionally, a diluent can be used prior to separating wet cake in a press. Related biorefineries configured to separate wet cake via one or more presses into pressate and press cake.
SHORT-PATH EVAPORATION PROCESSES
The present invention relates to effective processes for removing impurities from an edible fat, such as an edible butter or an edible oil, where the processes comprise the step of subjecting the edible fat to a short-path evaporation process and do not comprise the step of degumming the edible fat.
Pretreatment of biomass prior to separation of saturated biomass
A pretreatment for use with systems and methods for extracting and separating a bio-molecule, such as a lipid and/or a protein, from a biomass includes the step of contacting the biomass with a drying gas to substantially dewater the biomass to 20% water content by mass or less. Such pretreated biomass, mixed with one or more compressed liquefied gas solvents, may then be introduced into individual filter cells in a rotary pressure filter to separate lipids from proteins.
Lecithin or lecithin preparation having resistance to heat discoloration and a method for producing the same
To provide a lecithin or lecithin preparation of which resistance to heat discoloration is achieved without significant change of the phospholipid composition of the lecithin nor of the oligosaccharide content; and a method for producing the same. A lecithin or lecithin preparation obtained by bringing a lecithin into contact with an adsorbent and removing the adsorbent, the lecithin or lecithin preparation having resistance to heat discoloration and having an oligosaccharide content being 50% by mass or more of the content before the contact with the adsorbent.
