Method for controlling rust
A combination comprising a multi-site contact fungicide, a first systemic fungicide and optionally a second systemic fungicide and a method using the same.
REMOVAL OF BACTERIA FROM DRINKING WATER VIA FILTRATION
The present invention relates to a method for producing biocidal, porous particles of a cross-linked polymer, and to the porous particles that can be produced according to the method of the invention. The invention further relates to porous particles of an amino-group-containing polymer (polyamine) having a relatively low swelling factor. The porous particles according to the invention are used to remove biological contaminants from water and to bind metal-containing ions from solutions. The present invention further relates to a filter cartridge which contains the porous cross-linked polymer particles according to the invention.
ALGICIDAL, ALGISTATIC, HERBICIDAL AND HERBISTATIC TREATMENT OF WATER
A use of a composition comprising gallic acid as an active ingredient for an algicidal, algistatic, herbicidal or herbistatic treatment of an aquatic bottom stratum of water by the controlled release of the active ingredient. The invention also concerns the processes for manufacturing this composition. Another object concerns a method for treating an aquatic bottom stratum.

The invention also concerns the processes for manufacturing this composition. Another object concerns a method for treating an aquatic bottom stratum.
Materials and Methods for Delivering a Substance to a Plant
The present disclosure is directed to materials and methods for delivering substances to plants using light energy.
PLANT DISEASE CONTROL COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PLANT DISEASE BY APPLYING THE SAME
Provided is a plant disease control composition having a broad spectrum against various plant pathogens, and shows excellent controlling effects (synergistic controlling effects) which cannot be expected from a single component alone. The plant disease control composition includes (Group a) at least one quinoline compound represented by the formula:
##STR00001##
(wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2: an alkyl which may be substituted, an aryl which may be substituted, etc.; R.sup.3, R.sup.4: H, an alkyl which may be substituted, etc.; X: halogen, an alkyl which may be substituted, etc.; Y: halogen, alkyl, etc.; n: 0 to 4; m: 0 to 6) or a salt thereof, and at least one of fungicidal compounds selected from the group consisting of a Strobilurin series compound, a triazole series compound, etc., as effective ingredients.
HERBICIDE COMPOSITION CONTAINING ISOPROPYLAMINE CAPRYLATE
Provided is a herbicidal composition comprising a compound of Formula (I) as a herbicidally active ingredient, and an agronomically acceptable additive,
##STR00001##
Also provided is a method of controlling undesirable vegetation using the herbicide composition.
ANTIMICROBIAL COATING COMPOSITIONS
Described herein are quaternary ammonium polymers with broad spectrum antimicrobial properties that produce fast acting, long lasting, non-toxic and nonallergenic colorless and transparent durable surface coatings that are resistant to water and common solvents. The surface coatings are easy and cost effective to produce from readily-available materials using versatile synthesis, enabling a wide range of chemical variations. Such coatings are readily applicable to a wide range of surfaces and materials, without leaching of material from the coatings.
USE OF A CATIONIC POLYMER FOR REINFECTION PREVENTION
The present invention relates to treating a surface with a polymer and compositions comprising it for preventing microbial reinfection especially that of virus and bacteria on the surface for a long period of time after the surface has been treated. The present invention also relates to certain liquid cleansing compositions, sanitizers, hand-held spray devices and towelettes comprising the polymer for delivering the above benefit.
