Purification of triacylglyceride oils by auxiliary washing
The present invention provides an improved method for purification of a primary triacylglyceride oil comprising the steps of washing the primary triacylglyceride oil, trapping assisted removal of chlorinated precursors of MCPDEs by admixing the primary triacylglyceride oil with an auxiliary trapping agent; crystallising the auxiliary trapping agent or the primary triacylglyceride oil; and separating solid and liquid phases of the product.

METHODS OF REFINING A GRAIN OIL COMPOSITION
The present disclosure relates methods and systems for refining grain oil compositions using water, and related compositions produced therefrom. The present disclosure also relates to methods of using said compositions. The present disclosure also relates to methods of using grain oil derived from a fermentation product in an anti-foam composition.
Fish Oil Recovery From Aquatic Biomass
A method for recovering fish oil from aquatic biomass under cold conditions, the method comprising the steps of; providing an aquatic biomass; producing a minced aquatic biomass by mincing the aquatic biomass; providing an aqueous suspension of the minced aquatic biomass by mixing and/or homogenizing the minced aquatic biomass in an aqueous solution; adjusting the pH of said aqueous suspension to an extreme high pH or an extreme low pH; separating the aqueous suspension into a supernatant comprising a lower density emulsion fraction substantially comprising oil, aqueous solution and emulsified proteins, and a higher density fraction comprising substantially solubilized proteins, and optionally a pellet comprising collagenous components; collecting the lower density emulsion fraction; separating the lower density emulsion fraction into an oil phase and an aqueous phase; and collecting the oil from said oil phase.

VERSATILE METHOD FOR PURIFYING GLYCERIDIC MATERIALS
The invention provides a method for the purifying of low-quality glyceridic material usually unfit for use as feed or food. The method includes a thermal treatment of the low-quality glyceridic material and chemical treatments. The purified oils and fat are suitable feed-stock or suitable components thereof for a hydrogenation processes yielding to high quality renewable diesel. The process thus permits the recycling of waste material that is usually discarded, into a valuable high-quality fuel.

HIGHLY UNSATURATED FATTY ACID OR HIGHLY UNSATURATED FATTY ACID ETHYL ESTER WITH REDUCED ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTANTS, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A highly unsaturated fatty acid or a highly unsaturated fatty acid ethyl ester that has been produced using as a feedstock oil a fat or oil that contains highly unsaturated fatty acids as constituent fatty acids and which has been reduced in the contents of environmental pollutants, wherein among the dioxins contained, polychlorinated dibenzoparadioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) are contained in amounts of less than 0.05 pg-TEQ/g and coplanar PCBs (Co-PCBs) in amounts of less than 0.03 pg-TEQ/g. Also disclosed is a method for producing the highly unsaturated fatty acid or highly unsaturated fatty acid ethyl ester by the steps of removing free fatty acids and environmental pollutants by thin-film distillation from a feedstock oil, ethyl esterifying the resulting fat or oil, and refining the same by rectification and column chromatography.
Refined oil compositions and methods for making
A refined oil comprising at least one polyunsaturated fatty acid (PUFA), wherein the oil has a fatty acid ester of monochloropropanediol, epoxypropanol, and mixtures thereof in an amount of 10 ppm or less, and processes for producing the oil. The oil is preferably a microbial or marine oil.
