USE OF VOLATILE COMPOSITIONS TO LIMIT OR ELIMINATE THE PERCEPTION OF MALODOR
The various aspects presented herein relate to the perfumery industry. More particularly, the various aspects presented herein relate to the use of volatile compositions to limit, decrease or eliminate the perception of malodor. Such compositions include at least one malodor antagonist optionally combined with perfuming ingredients. Such compositions, their use in combination with delivery systems and their applications in consumer products are also objects of the present disclosure.
FRAGRANCE COMPOSITIONS CONTAINING NORBORNENE DERIVATIVES
Embodiments in accordance with the present invention relate generally to a variety of norbornene derivatives exhibiting olfactive properties and are suitable as fragrance ingredients. More specifically, this invention relates to various fragrance compositions containing one or more of a compound of formula (I):
##STR00001##
Wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are as defined herein. The compounds of formula (I) are useful as perfumes, colognes, and in perfume augmenting, modifying, enhancing, and imparting compositions. The compositions of this invention are therefore useful in a variety of products including perfumes, colognes, soaps, detergents, candles, air fresheners, trash bags, tissues, deodorants, lotions, skin care products, hair products, sanitary products, cleaning products, and the like.

NANOFILTRATION AUTOMATION FOR POLISHING OF OIL RESIN PLANT EXTRACTS
A system for purifying cannabis miscella is provided comprising a feed tank enabled to store the miscealla derived from cannabis extraction, a plurality of optical sensor modules, at least one valve, an ultrafiltration membrane module; and at least one pump. Wherein a closed system enabled to maintain a positive or negative pressure created by the at least one pump, enabling moving a flow of the miscealla through the system, one optical sensor is positioned upstream and downstream from the ultrafiltration membrane, the at least one valve is positioned between ultrafiltration membrane and an outlet, and a level of opening the valve creates different levels of back pressure based on readings from the optical sensors.
PROCESS FOR PREPARING A PERFUMING COMPOSITION
Described herein is a process for preparing a stable perfuming composition including a perfume oil, a viscosifying agent including tricyclodecanedimethanol alcohol, and a perfumery carrier including dipropylene glycol.
Cyclopropanation of substituted alkenes
Disclosed is a cyclopropanation process comprising the step of reacting an alkene compound having at least one carbon-carbon double bond with at least one dihaloalkane. The reaction is carried out in the presence of (i) particulate metal Zn, (ii) catalytically effective amount of particulate metal Cu or a salt thereof, (iii) at least one haloalkylsilane, and (iv) at least one solvent.
FRAGRANCE MIXTURES CONTAINING TRICYCLO[5.2.1.0]-DECANE-8-ETHYL ETHER
Described is in particular a fragrance mixture, preferably perfume oil, comprising the components (a) (tricyclo[5.2.1.0]-decane-8-ethyl ether)
##STR00001##
and additionally (b) one or more fragrance(s), preferably with a floral odor note, from the group consisting of alcohols and aldehydes having a molecular weight of 210 g/mol or less and/or (c) one or more fragrance(s) from the group consisting of ketones, ethers and esters having a molecular weight in the range from 190 g/mol to 250 g/mol. Furthermore, the present invention relates to methods for producing fragrance mixtures according to the invention, in particular perfume oils, perfumed products containing a fragrance mixture according to the invention, methods for producing perfumed products according to the invention as well as the use of the compound of formula (I) for enhancing the natural freshness and/or radiance and/or for masking or reducing greasy, technical and/or metallic notes of one or more fragrances different from the compound of formula (I).
Superabsorbent polymer and the method of fabricating the same
A superabsorbent polymer includes polymeric particles, surface cross-linking agents and an extract of a plant of Sapindaceae. The polymeric particles have cross-linking inside the polymeric particles. The surface cross-linking agents are covalently bound to the surface of the polymeric particles so as to constitute a layer of surface cross-linked region at the surface of each polymeric particle, and the extract of the plant of Sapindaceae covers the surface of the polymeric particles.
Freshening compositions and devices comprising same
The present invention relates to freshening compositions and devices comprising same that comprise a composition having a viscosity of from about 1 mPa.Math.s to about 50,000 mPa.Math.s comprising malodor reduction compositions and methods of making and using such compositions. The disclosed malodor reduction compositions do not unduely interfere with the scent of the freshening compositions and devices that comprise such technologies and the perfumed or unperfumed situs that is treated with such freshening compositions and devices.
