Described herein is a modular luggage system (the MLS) comprising: a modular case system comprising a plurality of interchangeable modular cases having a plurality of interchangeable compartments; a modular transport system comprising a plurality of interchangeable modular transport devices having attachment means; a first chassis comprising: a first chassis inner surface having engaging means configured to releasably and interchangeably retain an interchangeable modular case selected from the modular case system; and a first chassis frame having attachment regions configured to releasably and interchangeably couple with an interchangeable modular transport device selected from the modular transport system. Also described are a coupling device for a MILS with multiple chassis, and corresponding methods for assembling the above MILS. A kit of parts for assembling the MLS is also described.

LUGGAGE SYSTEM

A luggage system described herein includes a hard shell body and a soft shell body. The hard shell body includes first and second hard shell body portions. The soft shell body includes first and second soft shell body portions. The first hard shell body portion defines a first hard shell interior storage compartment. The second hard shell body portion defines a second hard shell interior storage compartment. The first soft shell body portion is sized and shaped to fit within and line the first hard shell interior storage compartment. The second soft shell body portion is sized and shaped to fit within and line the second hard shell interior storage compartment. The first and second soft shell body portions are removable, respectively, from the first and second hard shell interior storage compartments to thereby provide a soft shell luggage unit that can be used independent of the hard shell body.

Modular luggage system

The current invention may be to provide a modular luggage system having an at least one modular bag that may be configured to be secured to a cart configured to be fully-collapsible. In this embodiment, the collapsible adjustable cart may be configured in a nested configuration such that it may be a unibody structure that may be easily collapsed and stored, preferably in one or more modular bags. In this embodiment, the cart may further include a plurality of telescoping arms coupled to a base support as well as a plurality of extendable wheels secured to the base support through at least one wheel coupler. The adjustable support surface may be expandable through the use of one or more collapsible surfaces such that it may better accommodate one or more modular bags. The invention may also provide a belt-mounted stair guide mechanism to assist a user maneuver an adjustable cart up stairs, or other irregular elevated surfaces.

Modular and refillable container device

The present disclosure relates to refillable, modular containers consisting of a disposable refillable section and a retained section. The refillable section is dislodged from the retained section by pressing a release button which separates the two parts. Proximal to the releasing section is a connectable hinging mechanism by which individual modular containers can be connected and rotated about the hinge.
