PUMPLESS SYSTEM FOR EXTRACTION OF ESSENTIAL OILS USING HIGH DENSITY EXTRACTION LIQUID
A system for the extraction of essential oils from botanical matter housed within an extraction vessel, the system comprising: a transfer tank storing liquid and gaseous extraction fluid; a charge tank configured for storing liquid and gaseous extraction fluid, the charge tank being in fluid communication with the transfer tank; a transfer tank engagement valve selectively permitting fluid flow between the transfer tank and the charge tank; means for pressurizing the transfer tank; means for cooling the charge tank; wherein pressurizing the transfer tank transfers liquid phase extraction fluid to the charge tank, and cooling the charge tank increases a density of the liquid extraction fluid in the charge tank; wherein a transfer of extraction fluid from the charge tank to the extraction vessel occurs due to a pressure differential between the charge tank and the extraction vessel and without raising the temperature of the charge tank and without using a pump to transfer extraction fluid from the charge tank to the extraction vessel.
Continuous distillation process
A continuous distillation process comprises the following steps: putting a material into a multilayer distillation tower to enable the material to sequentially undergo preheating, extrusion pricking, steam distillation, meal roasting, drying and cooling treatment, condensing essential oil-containing steam, and carrying out water separation, so as to obtain an essential oil.

Essential Oil Extractor
Embodiments of the inventive technology may be described as a plant biomass extraction apparatus for production of liquid extract from plant biomass, using carbon dioxide, including one or more of: carbon dioxide chiller, extraction chamber, extract collection chamber, at least one valve, and fluid conveyance componentry, configured to define a closed loop for passive, pump-free extract production. Certain embodiments may avoid saturation of the extractant, and the resultant compromise of process effectiveness that may be seen in those apparatus relying on mechanical pump(s) for flow and/or may present a tabletop, closed loop liquid carbon dioxide extraction apparatus for the production of an extract from plant biomass or other matrix.
Cryogenic solid-liquid extractor
A cryogenic solid-liquid extractor comprises a reboiler for evaporating an extraction solvent; a cryogenic heat exchanger for condensing the vaporized extraction solvent to a liquid extraction solvent by passing the vaporized extraction solvent through a container cooled by a cryogenic cooling agent comprising a mixture of a cryogenic solvent and a compressed, liquified or solidified gas to cool the extraction solvent to a temperature below the freezing point of water and above the freezing point of the extraction solvent; a cryogenic extractor for passing the condensed liquid extraction solvent through a solid organic material to extract solvent-soluble material, but not water-soluble material, from the solid organic material, wherein the cryogenic solid-liquid extractor returns the condensed liquid extraction solvent containing extracted material to the reboiler to repeat the vaporization and condensation cycle.
PERFUMED COMPOSITIONS, PROCESS OF PREPARING THEREOF AND USES
The current invention relates to a stabilized perfumed aqueous composition comprising: a) 95.1 to 99.9 wt. % of a component (A), wherein said component (A) is a perfume component in a concentration of at most 30 wt. % in water; b) 0.1 to 4.9 wt. % of a component (B), wherein said component (B) is 1,2-pentanediol. In another aspect, the invention relates to a process for stabilizing a perfumed aqueous composition by addition 0.1 to 4.9 wt. % of 1,2-pentanediol to said perfumed aqueous composition, wherein said perfumed aqueous composition is a composition comprising at most 30 wt. % of a perfume component in water. In a third aspect, the invention relates to the use of stabilized perfumed aqueous composition in cosmetics, personal care and cleaning products.
METHOD FOR DECOLORIZING ESSENTIAL OIL
An object of the present invention is to provide a method for decolorizing an essential oil by which a change in a flavor of the essential oil is small even after decolorization. The first embodiment of the present invention relates to a method for decolorizing an essential oil, the method including an oxidation step of oxidizing an essential oil, in which the oxidation step includes a step of adding water and a phenol oxidase to the essential oil, and an addition amount of the water is 0.1 parts by mass to 1000 parts by mass with respect to 100 parts by mass of the essential oil.
