Provided is a device for manufacturing a scented candle, the device including: a main body; a wax and oil supply portion provided at an upper portion of the main body and including a wax supplier melting and supplying wax and an oil supplier supplying fragrance oil; a base provided at a lower portion of the main body; and a container provided on the base and receiving the liquid wax and the fragrance oil.

The present invention provides a topical formulation and method of use where the formulation comprises macqui berry or a macqui berry extract containing anthocyanins having a very high oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC). The formulation provides the macqui berry in a stabilized form which includes a glucuronide or glycuronide, a photostabilizing agent, encapsulation, or light—and/or air-blocking packaging.

A wax composition is disclosed, comprising a hydrogenate natural oil with (i) at least about 50 wt % of a triacylglycerol component having a fatty acid composition from about 14 to about 25 wt % C16:0 fatty acid, about 45 to about 60 wt % C18:1 fatty acid and about 20 to about 30 wt % C18:0 fatty acid, (ii) a nickel content of less than 1 ppm, and (iii) a melt point of about 49° C. to about 57° C. The hydrogenated natural oil is filtered and/or bleached to obtain a nickel content of less than 0.5 ppm. A candle is also disclosed, comprising a wick and the above described wax.

Wax compositions are provided with improved properties for various applications, such as coating of composite cellulosic materials, e.g., composite wood material, more specifically oriented strand board. As described herein, wax compositions include a kinematic viscosity measured at 100° C. of ≤13.1 mm.sup.2/s; and a contact angle on glass of ≤34.4°, which provide enhanced water proofing properties. The wax composition may have a flash point of greater than 450° F. Wax composition are provided with improved properties for candle jars. As described herein, candle jar wax compositions include 150N foots oil and 600N slack wax. The wax composition can include up to about 80% 150N foots oil.

A gel-type scented candle includes a container, a wick attached to and erected at the center of the inner bottom of the container, and a candle oil accommodated in the container, in which the candle oil is of a gel type made by adding a natural vegetable oil with a natural perfume and a natural pigment, and the container can be reused by being refilled with the candle oil by a user before or after use of the candle oil.

This invention relates to a liquid antioxidant composition which finds utility as an antioxidant additive in candle wax and lubricant compositions, and has an additional effect of preventing crystallization of the tolutriazole additive used in such compositions. In particular, the antioxidant composition is a combination of an alkylated diphenylamine derivative of tolutriazole with benzyl benzoate.

Described herein are wax formulations and candles having improved release characteristics from containers.

The disclosure relates to flexible wax compositions and a method of making the same. Described herein is a wax composition containing about 20 wt % to about 45 wt % monoacylglycerides, about 28 wt % to about 40 wt % diacylglycerides, and about 10 wt % to about 45 wt % acylglyceride polymers, which contain one or more dimerized fatty acid residue and a plurality of glycerol moieties. The flexible wax composition described herein has an average creep stiffness of less than about 30 MPa and can be used in candles, paper coatings, box coatings, fruit coatings, broadsizing for OSB, tire and rubber, polyvinyl chloride piping, crayons, and personal care applications.
