The wick tab holder includes a loop configured to engage a corresponding wick tab laterally with respect to the corresponding wick tab. The wick tab holder is also configured to apply a holding force onto the corresponding wick tab for holding the corresponding wick tab attached to the wick tab holder.

A width of the engraved booster region may be 0.075 to 0.175 inches. Methods for manufacturing wicks include laser engraving a planar workpiece to remove material from a surface of the workpiece forming engraved booster regions, and laser cutting the workpiece to form sheets including an engraved booster region.

This invention relates to a wax composition comprising one or more fatty acid diester compounds having the formula of ##STR00001##
R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.4 to C.sub.50 alkyl or aryl; and n.sub.1 is an integer from 2 to 10. This invention also relates to a wax composition comprising: a) one or more fatty acid monoester or diester compounds having the formula of: ##STR00002##
and b) one or more hydroxylated fatty acid diester compounds having the formula of ##STR00003##
In these formulae, R is H or COR.sub.1; R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are each independently a substituted or unsubstituted C.sub.4 to C.sub.50 alkyl or aryl; n.sub.2 is an integer from 2 to 24; m is an integer from 2 to 12; and .(OH).sub.m represents 2 to 12 hydroxyl groups substituting for 2 to 12 hydrogen atoms in the alkyl groups R.sub.1 and/or R.sub.2. Uses of the compositions are also disclosed.
