Candles and Related Components and Methods
A candle includes a flammable medium that is at least semi-solid. A wick assembly is at least partially integrated within the flammable medium. The wick assembly includes a wick having a top end and a bottom end and at least one stop coupled with the wick between the top end and the bottom end. The stop is configured to substantially prevent the candle from burning beyond the stop. The stop is configured to be manually removable, after the wick has burned from the top end to the stop, to substantially separate a burned portion of the wick from a remainder of the wick. After the burned portion and stop have been thus manually removed, a substantially non-burned top portion of the remainder is exposed and is capable of being ignited to re-light the candle.
SCENTED ELECTRONIC CANDLE DEVICE
Scented electronic candle devices are described that facilitate operation and usage of a variety of features such as light or scent or movement of the flame, or a combination thereof. The disclosed features also include multiple settings for the variety of features. For instance, the scent feature can be activated or deactivated by multiple switches, remote, sensors, timers, or similar devices. In addition, the intensity of the scent features can be increased or decreased by increasing or decreasing the amount of heat or air. Similarly the light feature can be activated, deactivated, or set on a timer. Additionally, the scented electronic candle devices can be equipped with rechargeable batteries that can be charged using a wireless charging station or by connecting the scented electronic candle device to an electrical wall outlet.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A CANDLE HAVING AN ITEM EMBEDDED WITHIN
A candle with an embedded item and methods for manufacturing same are disclosed. A method for manufacturing a candle having an embedded item can include providing a first set of items of a first value and a second set of items of a second value different from the first value, combining the two sets to create a third set, and distributing the items of the third set among a set of candles, one item per candle, where the presence, nature, or value of the item within the candle is obscured. The method can further include selling the candles for a first price, wherein, the presence of the embedded item, the nature of the embedded item, the value of the embedded item, or the value of the embedded item relative to the first price is not known to the purchaser. The embedded item can comprise an object redeemable for a prize.
Method for imparting a customized coffee and creamer aroma to an environment, an aroma customizing coffee bar, and a coffee bar kit
Disclosed is a method of imparting a customized aroma of coffee and creamer to an environment. The method includes placing coffee-scented wax melts and creamer-scented wax melts on a surface and heating the surface to a temperature sufficient to melt the coffee-scented wax melts and the creamer-scented wax melt and to impart a desired customized aroma of coffee and creamer to an environment.
BURNER CUP
A device has a canister with a bulk wick occupying at least most of the canister, and a lid affixed to the canister and in contact with the bulk wick. The lid defines an opening exposing a portion of the bulk wick for lighting.
LAYERED CANDLE ASSEMBLY AND METHODS OF FORMING THEREOF
A method of forming a layered candle assembly includes positioning a candle core in a form. A layer of powdered wax is loaded into the form. The powdered wax layer has an outer region and an inner region. Mechanical force is applied to compress the outer region of the powdered wax layer and form an upper interface surface that is substantially non-horizontal. The outer perimeter of the interface surface is visible to an observer in the finished candle assembly. A liquefied fuel substance is poured over the top of the powdered wax layer to form a layer of solid wax. A wick may be added to at a desirable stage in the method of forming the layered candle assembly. The powdered wax and solid wax layers may each have a color or a combination of colors and/or a scent component or a combination of scent components.
EXTRUDED WAX MELT AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
A wax melt blank is produced with an extrusion process and intended to later be cut to length into individual wax melts. The wax melt blank includes at least about fifty percent by weight of wax, a fragrance, and up to about fifty percent by weight of a filler. The wax, the fragrance, and the filler are homogeneously dispersed within the wax melt blank.
LED mason jar candle
A flameless candle molded into a jar is described. The jar is designed with an open bottom and is tooled for engagement with an electronic insert having batteries, control circuitry and at least one LED light. A candle is then formed in the jar with the electronic insert by molding a candle shell along the sidewalls of the jar. The candle shell is formed such that the sidewalls extend above the LED light of the electronic insert to allow the LED light to illuminate at a position below the sidewalls. The wax or waxen shell is formed only along the sidewalls, creating a hollow region above the electronic insert. Once the wax on the sidewalls sets, wax is then poured in the hollow regions above the electronic insert to a position just below or above the LED light.
WAX MELT COMPOSITIONS HAVING INCREASED THERMAL STABILITY
Wax melt compositions loaded with a volatile agent for release therefrom having beneficial performance properties and behavior are disclosed and described. In certain embodiments, such was melt compositions can include a wax component, a releasable volatile agent, a first inorganic thickener that is hydrophobically modified, and a second inorganic thickener.
CANDLE ASSEMBLY AND METHOD FOR MAKING PERSONALIZED CANDLES
A candle assembly for making a personalized scented candle including a candle body comprises a coring device that is configured to remove a core from the candle body, the coring device including (i) a leading edge that selectively extends into the candle body; and (ii) a plurality of measurement markers that measure a depth of the leading edge within the candle body. The coring device can be configured to remove the core from the candle body to form a cavity in the candle body. Additionally, the measurement markers can be utilized to determine a depth of the cavity formed in the candle body by the coring device.
