The present disclosure relates to a new way to manufacture and incorporate decorative features within a candle using a floating candle and a suspension base. The present disclosure describes a floating candle that may be located over a base with suspended decoration. In some aspects, the floating candle may comprise an ignitable wick that may extinguish prior to reaching the base. In some implementations, the base may comprise a liquid that may allow for movement of the decorations within the base. In some aspects, the base may comprise a rigid material, such as a hardened epoxy or polymerized monomer, wherein the curing of the material may occur after the decorations may be placed in the base.

Apparatuses and methods are provided for rapid and user-friendly manual setting of wicks into container candles. The apparatuses of embodiments include a wick setter that includes a proximal portion configured to receive a downward force. The wick setter also includes an elongated shaft coupled to the proximal portion and defining a longitudinal axis. The elongated shaft is configured to translate the downward force from the proximal portion onto a distal portion of the wick setter. The distal portion includes at least one wick tab holder disposed perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis. The wick tab holder includes a loop configured to engage a corresponding wick tab laterally with respect to the corresponding wick tab. The wick tab holder is also configured to apply a holding force onto the corresponding wick tab for holding the corresponding wick tab attached to the wick tab holder.

Each candle has a wick at one end and an opposite end having a base width. The kit further includes a second container which is openable by the user, and a plurality of tubes enclosed in the second container. A candle holder comprises a housing for securing a candle; the housing including first thermochromic material formed on the housing and second thermochromic material formed on the thermochromic material. The first thermochromic material changes a perceivable state of the first thermochromic material when an ambient temperature of first thermochromic material is above a first pre-determined activation temperature, the perceivable state of the first thermochromic material being visually perceivable or non-visually perceivable. The second thermochromic material changes a perceivable state of the second thermochromic material when an ambient temperature of second thermochromic material is above a second pre-determined activation temperature, the perceivable state of the second thermochromic material being visually perceivable or non-visually perceivable. The perceivable state of the first thermochromic material is different from the perceivable state of the second thermochromic material.

A wickless candle is provided, the candle comprising one or more sheets, the sheet including a first outer layer, a second outer layer and an inner layer therebetween to provide a thickness, the first outer layer and the second outer layer including a beeswax-based formulation, the inner layer including the beeswax-based formulation and a combustible substrate, the substrate including a plurality of fibers and a plurality of interstitial spaces between the fibers, the interstitial spaces retaining the beeswax-based formulation, wherein the beeswax-formulation in the interstitial spaces is continuous with the beeswax-based formulation of the first outer layer and the second outer layer.
