METHOD AND PROCESS FOR MANUFACTURING A CANDLE
A method includes performing a grinding operation on a portion of a bottom surface of a crystal to generate a flat portion on the bottom surface of the crystal. The method also includes submerging the crystal in water and drilling a hole that extends from the flat portion to a cavity within the crystal while the crystal is submerged in the water. The method also includes inserting a straw through the hole such that the straw extends through the flat portion and the cavity. The method further includes inserting a wick holder through the straw. The method also includes attaching a glass container to the flat portion such that an opening of the wick holder is inside the glass container. The method also includes inserting a wick within the wick holder.
APPARATUS FOR PRODUCING CANDLES
An apparatus for producing candles from a liquid or pasty raw material. The apparatus for producing candles includes a raw material supply line, an outlet, through which the liquid or pasty raw material can be dispensed in order to fill a candle container and/or the liquid or pasty raw material can be withdrawn from the candle container by suction, and a metering device that has a housing with an inflow and outflow. The inflow is fluidically connected to the raw material supply line and the outflow is fluidically connected to the outlet, and the liquid or pasty raw material can be dispensed and/or withdrawn by suction through the outlet in a metered manner with the aid of the metering device. At least two mutually intermeshing gearwheels are accommodated within the housing of the metering device.
Container candle device with solid permanent display
A candle device with a solid candle wax and a permanent display is provided. In preferred embodiments the candle device is reusable. In other preferred embodiments the candle device contains an LED device capable of providing LED light to the candle device.

Wax compositions and the effect of metals on burn rates
A wax composition is disclosed, comprising a hydrogenated natural oil with (i) at least about 50 wt % of a triacylglycerol component having a fatty acid composition from about 14 to about 25 wt % C16:0 fatty acid, about 45 to about 60 wt % C18:1 fatty acid and about 20 to about 30 wt % C18:0 fatty acid, (ii) a nickel content of less than 1 ppm, and (iii) a melt point of about 49 C. to about 57 C. The hydrogenated natural oil is filtered and/or bleached to obtain a nickel content of less than 0.5 ppm. A candle is also disclosed, comprising a wick and the above described wax.
