Methods for using in situ cleaning systems which reduce water hardness and minimize chemical additives are provided. According to the methods and systems, the methods of using may comprise providing feed water to an in situ cleaning system including water treatment components, oxidizing agent generating components and/or alkalinity generating components, contacting one or more articles with a use solution generated by the in situ cleaning system, and washing the one or more articles in a washing system. In addition to the methods of using, the systems for in situ cleaning are provided.

The present invention relates to a detergent tablet, in particular, it relates to a detergent tablet for providing a liquid cleaning composition on dissolution in water. It discloses a unit dose tablet comprising at least 10% by weight surfactant; and a dissolving aid selected from hydrated monosaccharides, hydrated disaccharides, hydrated oligosaccharides and combinations thereof, wherein the ratio of the surfactant to the dissolving aid is at least 1:1.5 by weight. It further discloses a process for forming a liquid cleaning composition comprising the steps of providing water in a container, adding said tablet into the water, wherein the ratio of tablet to water is in the range from 1:5 to 1:100 by weight.

A detergent composition including (a) at least one acyl alkyl isothionate surfactant of formula (I):

A composition for use in a laundry pouch comprises a first surfactant, an ethoxylated alcohol, a protease enzyme, an amylase enzyme, and a mannanase enzyme. The composition may be used in a pouch or added as a liquid detergent to a laundry wash. The laundry detergent composition may comprise a composition having at its essence a surfactant and an enzyme. A method of obtaining a laundry care composition, the method comprising the steps of (a) reacting a reactive leuco compound with a polymer to form a leuco polymer and (b) mixing the leuco polymer with at least one laundry care ingredient. A method of obtaining a laundry care composition, the method comprising the steps of (a) reacting a compound with a polymer to form a leuco polymer and (b) mixing the leuco polymer with at least one laundry care ingredient. The compound includes at least one leuco moiety and at least one electrophilic group.
