Stabilized hydrogen peroxide compositions and method of making same
Stabilized hydrogen peroxide-containing compositions and methods of making same are disclosed. The compositions contain a stabilizer system made up of a disulfonate surfactant, a diester solvent, and a sulfonic acid or a salt thereof in a sufficient quantity to provide the stabilized hydrogen peroxide with an acidic pH value. The compositions are suitable for use as disinfectants, as cleaning agents, and in various personal care applications such as hair care and tooth whitening.
PEROXIDASES HAVING ACTIVITY FOR CAROTENOIDS
A peroxidase, a method for producing the peroxidase, and an agent including at least one peroxidase are provided herein. The peroxidase includes an amino acid sequence that has a sequence identity of at least 60% to the amino acid sequence specified in SEQ ID NO:1 (Gap MnP1), across the entire length thereof; or has a sequence identity of at least 60% to the amino acid sequence specified in SEQ ID NO:2 (Gap MnP2), across the entire length thereof; or has a sequence identity of at least 80% to the amino acid sequence specified in SEQ ID NO:3 (Bja LiP), across the entire length thereof; or has a sequence identity of at least 60% to the amino acid sequence specified in SEQ ID NO:4 (Bja DyP), across the entire length thereof.
STABLE PERCARBOXYLIC ACID COMPOSITIONS AND USES THEREOF
The present invention relates generally to stable percarboxylic acid compositions comprising, inter alia, at least two stabilizing agents, and various uses for water treatments, including water treatments in connection with oil- and gas-field operations. The present invention also relates to slick water compositions and gel based compositions that comprise stable percarboxylic acid compositions and the use thereof in oil- and gas-field operations.
PEROXIDE COMPOSITION
A shelf stable laundry or hard surface composition comprising hydrogen peroxide is disclosed. The composition can be in the form of a thickened liquid or a gel that can support solid particles and is stable over a normal product shelf life against both precipitation of the particles and degradation of the peroxide and can tolerate a wide range of additional cleaning ingredients.

Process for making solid methylglycine diacetate (MGDA) alkali metal salt (a), said process comprising the steps of (A) providing a 35 to 60% by weight aqueous solution of said MGDA salt having a temperature in the range of from 50 to 90° C., (B) adding 0.01 to 2% by weight of a particulate solid with a pore volume in the range of from 0.25 to 0.75 cm.sup.3/g, determined by nitrogen adsorption in accordance with 66134:1998-02 (b), the percentage referring to the content of (a), (C) crystallizing (a), (D) removing said crystalline (a) from the mother liquor.

In particular, peroxyformic acid compositions are generated in situ or on site generation for the reduction and prevention, of biofilms and the mitigation of mineral buildup on the membranes. The compositions according to the invention are compatible with the membranes under application of use conditions.
