POWDERS AND GRANULES AND PROCESS FOR MAKING SUCH POWDERS AND GRANULES
The present invention is directed towards a process for making a powder or granule containing (A) at least one alkali metal salt of citric acid, and at least one additive selected from (B) at least one (co)polymer containing carboxylic acid groups, partially neutralized with alkali, in a weight ratio of (A):(B) of from 5:1 up to 100:1, wherein said powder or granule contains at least 75% by weight of citrate (A), said process comprising the steps of (a) mixing the at least one alkali metal salt of citric acid (A) and the at least one (co)polymer (B) in the presence of water, (b) removing most of said water by spray-drying or spray granulation using a gas with an inlet temperature of at least 125° C.
CHEMICAL LIQUID, CHEMICAL LIQUID CONTAINER, AND METHOD FOR TREATING SUBSTRATE
The present invention provides a chemical liquid that has an excellent ruthenium dissolving ability and leaves small amounts of residual ruthenium and sodium, a chemical liquid container, and a method for treating a substrate. The chemical liquid according to an embodiment of the present invention is a chemical liquid used for removing a ruthenium-containing substance on a substrate. The chemical liquid contains hypochlorous acid or a salt thereof and bromic acid or a salt thereof, in which a content of the hypochlorous acid or a salt thereof is 0.1% to 9.0% by mass with respect to a total mass of the chemical liquid, and a content of the bromic acid or a salt thereof is 0.001 to 15.0 ppm by mass with respect to the total mass of the chemical liquid.
AUTOMATIC DISHWASHING COMPOSITION COMPRISING AT LEAST ONE IMIDAZOLE-BASED COMPOUND
Described herein is an automatic dishwashing (ADW) composition including as component (A) at least one imidazole-based compound selected from the group consisting of unsubstituted or at least monosubstituted imidazole and benzimidazole. The automatic dishwashing composition may include further components, such as polyakylene imines (component (B)), at least one silicate (component (C)) and/or at least one chelating agent (component (D)). Also described herein is a process for cleaning dishware using said ADW composition as well as a method of using said ADW composition, for example, to reduce any corrosion on the items to be dishwashed (dishware). Also described herein is a method of using at least one imidazole-based compound according to component (A) as a corrosion inhibitor in automatic dishwashing processes.

Compositions and Methods for Use in Surface Decontamination
The disclosure provides compositions and methods for making a colorized solution of an aqueous disinfectant that is both stable in bulk solution and will fade to clear within a predetermined period of time after being applied to a surface, for example as a spray or film. The compositions and methods described here allow an end user to visualize both the extent of coverage and the duration of contact of the disinfectant with the surface, thereby providing more efficient disinfection of the surface.
Laundry sheet comprising functional granules
The present invention provides a laundry sheet wherein one or more component selected from a group consisting of a builder, an enzyme, a bleaching agent and a bleach activator is contained as a granule in a laundry film prepared using a laundry detergent component and a film-forming water-soluble polymer. The laundry sheet of the present invention completely dissolves in water and thus does not need to be removed after laundering. In addition, the laundry sheet of the present invention has superior cleaning performance, is convenient to use and has superior storage stability.
REMOVAL OF HYDROPHILIC BODY SOILS
Aminocarboxylate builders having 1 to 3 amino groups and 2 to 6 carboxylic acid groups improve blood soil removal, particularly from fabrics. Improved removal of body soils from fabrics is achieved by washing the fabric in a first wash liquor comprising one or more carboxylate builders, followed by a second wash in a wash liquor comprising surfactant.
