PERFORMANCE GEAR, TEXTILE TECHNOLOGY, AND CLEANING AND PROTECTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A cleaning system for cleaning high performance textiles, sports gear, and/or other laundry, which includes a washing agent and a protective agent. The washing agent is configured to remove unwanted matter from the high performance textiles, sports gear, and/or other laundry. The protective agent is configured to create a bonded barrier comprising organosilane antimicrobial(s) on the high performance textiles, sports gear, and/or other laundry for protection against odors from bacteria, mold and mildew and/or the like. The washing agent and the protective agent are configured to be used in a two-step water-based treatment process in which the washing agent is provided in a given first step of the treatment process and the protective agent is provided in a given subsequent second step of the treatment process.
Ferrate compositions for surface disinfection
Methods for disinfecting a surface are provided which include contacting a surface with a solution comprising Fe(VI)O.sub.4.sup.2−, thereby disinfecting the surfaces. In some cases, the surface to be contacted with the solution is in a space suitable for human occupancy and the surface is arranged in the ambient of the space. In addition, solutions comprising Fe(VI)O.sub.4.sup.2− are provided. The solutions may additionally include a hypohalite salt and a surfactant.
Tetraacetyldiamine and triacetyldiamine derivatives useful as bleach activators
This disclosure relates generally to bleach activator compositions. This disclosure relates more particularly to tetraacetyldiamine and/or triacetyldiamine derivatives and compositions thereof and to their use as bleach activators, and methods for using them as detergents or biocides.

CLEANING COMPOSITION AND METHOD FOR REMOVAL OF STAINS FROM ROOF SHINGLES
A composition is provided containing a pH adjuster, a surfactant, and a solvent, wherein the composition has the ability to solubilize MAAs that creates dark streaks on roof shingles. The method of making the composition involves mixing a pH adjuster and a surfactant with water. A method of using is provided in which additional water is added to the composition. Once the composition is diluted and the desired alkalinity is reached, the composition is sprayed on a roof through a device having a spray/stream end. The output from the spray/stream end of the device transforms secreted MAA present on the roof shingles into an orange color upon contact. The resulting orange residue is then rinsed off from the shingles to provide a new looking roof.
SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING MEATS WITH AQUEOUS OZONE
A system for meat processing may include: a conveyor configured to transport animal carcasses or portions of meat through a meat processing facility; and a spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with aqueous ozone when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the spray system by the conveyor. The system may further include a second spray system configured to spray each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat with lactic acid or citric acid when each of the animal carcasses or portions of meat is transported to the second spray system by the conveyor.

Chlorine dioxide disinfecting cloth
The invention relates to highly effective disinfecting or sterilising cloths with chlorine dioxide as the main active ingredient. For this, the chlorine dioxide is only generated shortly before use by bringing a cloth impregnated with a chlorite or chlorate salt in contact with a clearly defined amount of a suitable activation agent that is fluid or dissolved or admixed in a fluid, and prepackaged as a single dose, for the generation of chlorine dioxide. In a preferred embodiment, the impregnated cloth and the activation fluid are packaged in a common packaging unit and the activation occurs by breaking through a barrier separating the cloth or the cloths and the activation fluid. In a further preferred embodiment, the packaging is a moulded part having two packaging spaces separated from one another by removable barriers, which can be converted into a moulded part with only one chamber via simple pressure in one direction. The activation fluid or the disinfecting cloth can contain further substances, such as the pH-value-controlling substances, surfactants, guanidine derivatives, aldehydes, phenoxyethanols, phosphate esters, alcohols, sulfoxides, etc. Preferably, the disinfecting cloth according to the invention is used for disinfecting and/or sterilising medical instruments and/or medical products and/or surfaces.
