BAD-ODOR CONTROL USING ENCAPSULATION TECHNOLOGIES CONTAINING A NEUTRALIZING AGENT

A composition may include microcapsules containing at least one odor-neutralizing agent, and agents may include such a composition. Furthermore, such compositions or agents may reduce malodors and/or be used for treating a surface, for treating room air, or for washing and/or caring for textiles using such compositions or agents.

Liquid laundry detergent compositions

A liquid laundry composition comprising: (i) one or more anionic surfactants; and (ii) a non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant with a degree of ethoxylation in the range of 1 to 10; wherein the total amount of anionic surfactant in the composition is in the range of 3 to 18 wt % of the total composition and the weight ratio of the total amount of anionic surfactant to the non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant is in the range of 6:1 to 60:1. Use of a liquid laundry detergent composition including said non-ionic ethoxylated C10 Guerbet alcohol surfactant for laundering textiles wherein effective foam is maintained during a main wash step and an easy rinse of the textiles is provided during a rinse step.

The invention includes at least one perimeter panel wherein the perimeter panel has formed therein a plurality of scent compartments. The scent compartments have an opening wherein the opening is sealably secured with a removable cap member. The scent compartments include an interior volume wherein disposed within the interior volume is an absorbent material. The absorbent material is operable to be saturated with a volatile compound. Removal of the cap member during use of the book of the invention provides release of the fragrance of the volatile compound saturated on the absorbent material. The scent compartment is further configured with a slot and a screen member wherein the slot facilitates release of the fragrance. A rear access panel provides access to the interior volume of the scent compartment.
