Dilute chemical solution production device
A chemical solution supply part for supplementing the chemical solution to the chemical solution storage tank and a purge gas supply part for supplying N.sub.2 gas as a purge gas to the chemical solution storage tank are in communication with the chemical solution storage tank, and a first manometer serving as a pressure measurement part is arranged on the chemical solution storage tank. In addition, a drain piping is connected to a head portion of the plunger pump, and an automatically controlled air-bleed valve, which is an air-bleed mechanism, is arranged on the drain piping. On the other hand, a second manometer is arranged in the middle of the chemical solution supply pipe, and a front end of the solution supply pipe on the downstream side serves as an injection point for the chemical solution S.

Low VOC composition to remove food, beverage, pet and protein stains
A Low-VOC, water-based cleaner containing Baypure CX 100/34 or EDTA Versene 100, Glycol Ether DPNP, or glycol ether EB and DB, Acetone, Acetic Acid, and fragrance. The VOC content of this composition is selectable to be 3.0% or 0% (zero).
METHOD FOR CLEANING ARTICLES USING NONFLAMMABLE, AZEOTROPIC OR AZEOTROPE-LIKE COMPOSITION
A nonflammable solvent composition, a method of cleaning an article, and a method of depositing a material on a substrate are disclosed. The nonflammable solvent composition includes a fluorocyclopentane in which 3 to 9 hydrogen atoms have each been replaced by a fluorine atom; trans-1,2-dichloroethylene (t-DCE); and at least one organic compound, such as a C.sub.2-C.sub.6 alcohol, a C.sub.1-C.sub.6 alkane, and a C.sub.3-C.sub.6 cycloalkane. Amounts of the fluorocyclopentane, t-DCE, and the organic compound in the nonflammable composition are selected so that the composition is an azeotrope or is azeotrope-like. The method of cleaning an article includes contacting the article with the nonflammable composition via vapor degreasing or wet cleaning. The method of depositing a material on a substrate includes dissolving the material in the nonflammable solvent composition, applying the composition containing the material to the substrate, and evaporating the composition from the substrate.
COMPOSITIONS FOR PHOTODYNAMIC CONTROL OF INFECTION
The present invention relates to compositions for the photodynamic control of micro-organisms wherein the compositions comprise a photosensitiser which comprises a dyestuff and produces singlet oxygen when irradiated by means of light for the disinfection and sterilization of materials, commodities and surfaces contaminated with one or more species of micro-organisms including bacteria, fungi, algae, yeasts, bacterial spores and fungal spores.
CLEANING COMPOSITION FOR SEMICONDUCTOR SUBSTRATE AND CLEANING METHOD
A cleaning composition for a semiconductor substrate contains a solvent, and a polymer that includes a fluorine atom, a silicon atom or a combination thereof. The content of water in the solvent is preferably no greater than 20% by mass. The cleaning composition preferably further contains an organic acid which is a non-polymeric acid. The organic acid is preferably a polyhydric carboxylic acid. The acid dissociation constant of the polymer is preferably less than that of the organic acid. The solubility of the organic acid in water at 25° C. is preferably no less than 5% by mass. The organic acid is preferably a solid at 25° C.
Method and apparatus for cleaning railroad tank cars
A blend of aliphatic hydrocarbons and polyglycol ether(s) is used in a process for cleaning railroad tank cars that have been gravity drained of hydrocarbon fluids but may be left with a residuum containing heavy hydrocarbons, paraffin and noxious gas. A simple recirculation system is established between the chemical source, the contaminated railcar, canister filters and back to the chemical source. Contaminates are removed from the cleaning chemical by the filters and there is no water or steam used which might otherwise damage the railcar.
Solvent composition, cleaning method, method of forming a coating film, heat transfer fluid, and heat cycle system
A cleaning method may include: bringing an article to be cleaned into contact with a liquid-phase solvent composition including 1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene and 1-chloro-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropane; and exposing the article to be cleaned to steam generated by evaporating the liquid-phase solvent composition. In the liquid-phase composition, a proportion of a content of 1-chloro-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropane to a total of a content of 1-chloro-2,3,3-trifluoro-1-propene and a content of 1-chloro-2,2,3,3-tetrafluoropropane may be 0.0001 to 1 mass %.
