A method for producing a liquid composition which contains surfactants, and to the compositions obtained by the method.
Ethoxylated diols and compositions containing ethoxylated diols
The present invention relates generally to surfactant and detergent compositions and, more specifically, to surfactant and detergent compositions containing an ethoxylated diol.
PERFUMED FILLED CLEANING FLUIDS
A viscous fluid cleaning composition for a cleaning a substrate comprising (a) a surfactant combination comprising (i) at least one surfactant; and (ii) a glycolipid biosurfactant which is present at a level in the range 10-95 wt % of the total surfactant in said surfactant system, and (b) one or more viscosity modifiers; and (c) ethoxylated polyethylene imine (EPEI) and (d) a volatile benefit agent; wherein the composition has a pour viscosity as measured at 21 s-1 of between 250 CPs to 3000 Cps.
Process For Reblending A First Liquid Detergent Composition Into A Second Liquid Detergent Composition
A process for reblending a first liquid detergent composition into a second liquid detergent composition.
MILD LIQUID DETERGENT FORMULATIONS
The present invention provides methods for determining mild aqueous laundry detergent formulations, mild liquid laundry detergent formulations, and methods for preparing the same. The formulations comprise various surfactants and have a low detergent mildness indicator, derived from combining results from Zein test, corneosurfametry test, and in vitro cytokine release test.
Polymeric cleaning booster
A liquid laundry additive is provided, comprising a cleaning booster polymer having structural units of a monoethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer; structural units of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer of formula (I) ##STR00001## wherein a is an average of 1-3; wherein b is an average of 1-3; wherein c is an average of 0-5; wherein d is 4-100; wherein A is an anion; and wherein M is a cation charge balancing the anion; and optionally, structural units of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer of formula (II) ##STR00002## wherein each R.sup.2 is independently selected from a C.sub.1-4 alkyl group; and wherein each R.sup.3 is independently selected from the group consisting of a hydrogen and a methyl group.
COMPOSITIONS AND THEIR APPLICATIONS
Disclosed herein are compositions including (A) at least one polymer including (a) a core that bears one to 3 moieties of the general formula (I),
##STR00001## where Z are different or the same and selected from C.sub.5-C.sub.20-alkylene where in the C.sub.5-C.sub.20-alkylene at least one C-atom is replaced by an N-atom that bears a polyalkylene chain and where the C-atoms in the C.sub.5-C.sub.20-alkylene may be non-substituted or substituted with one or more OC.sub.1-C.sub.4- alkyl groups, A.sup.1 are different or the same and selected from C.sub.1-C.sub.12-alkylene, C.sub.6-arylene, and C.sub.3-C.sub.12-cycloalkylene where C.sub.1-C.sub.12-alkylene and C.sub.3-C.sub.12-cycloalkylene may be non-substituted or substituted with one or more OC.sub.1-C.sub.4-alkyl groups or OH groups and wherein C.sub.3-C.sub.12-cycloalkylene may bear one to three methyl groups, or based on citric acid, X.sup.1 is selected from hydrogen, methyl, ethyl and combinations of at least two thereof, and n is in a range of from 1 to 100, and (b) polyalkylene oxide chains.
COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS
This disclosure relates to a solid concentrate composition and/or a method of preparing a liquid cleaning composition from a solid concentrate composition and/or a method of cleaning a surface and/or a method of preparing a solid concentrate composition. More particularly, this disclosure relates to a solid concentrate composition comprising a fast-acting thickening agent, a slow-acting thickening agent and a surfactant.
Methods for producing liquid detergent products
Disclosed herein are methods for producing liquid detergent products using a vessel comprising an inlet, an outlet, an agitation device, and an additive mixing zone disposed between the inlet and the outlet. The method comprises introducing an unstructured liquid detergent precursor into the inlet of the vessel; mixing an additive and the unstructured liquid detergent precursor in an additive mixing zone to form a combined additive detergent; adding a structurant to the combined additive detergent downstream of the additive mixing zone to form a liquid detergent product. The liquid detergent products may be used in a water-soluble pouch, for e.g., a multi-compartment water-soluble pouch.
Single chamber water-soluble refill dose article enclosing a concentrated cleanser composition and kits having same
Single compartment water-soluble refill dose articles having a water-soluble film enclosing a liquid concentrated cleanser composition, methods of making the same, and kits are disclosed. The liquid concentrated cleanser composition includes a mixture of a rheology modifier, a first surfactant, a stabilizing amount of a first alkaline substance, a viscosity increasing amount of an additional alkaline substance that interacts with the rheology modifier, when diluted with water to form a cleanser, to increase the viscosity, and about 10% or less wt/wt water and about 20% or less by wt/wt glycol. The first alkaline substance is an ethoxylated amine and prevents the viscosity increasing amount of additional alkaline substance from reacting with the rheology modifier before water dissolves the water-soluble film. When dissolved in water at a 1:1 to 1:20 ratio, a cleanser has a viscosity within a range of 2000 cps to 50,000 cps is formed.
