Use of glycol ethers and alkyl alcohol blends to control surfactant composition rheology
A surfactant composition includes a surfactant component including an alcohol ethoxy sulfate having a C.sub.8-C.sub.20 backbone ethoxylated with from about 1 to about 10 moles of ethylene oxide and is present in an amount of from about 20 to about 80 weight percent actives. The surfactant composition also includes water present in a total amount of about 10 to about 35 weight percent. The surfactant composition further includes an alkyl alcohol present in an amount of from about 3 to about 10 weight percent. The surfactant composition also includes a glycol ether present in an amount of about 2 to about 20 weight percent. The surfactant composition has a viscosity of less than about 5,000 cps measured at 20° C.
Composition comprising a quaternary ammonium compound, a cationic polysaccharide, a nonionic polysaccharide and a fragrance material or perfume
The present invention relates to a composition, in particular, a fabric conditioning composition, comprising at least a quaternary ammonium compound, a cationic polysaccharide, a nonionic polysaccharide and a fragrance material or perfume. In particular, the quaternary ammonium compound is a biodegradable quaternary ammonium compound. The composition has excellent softening performance and improved perfume longevity.
Method of preparing a detergent composition comprising a cationic polymer with a silicone/surfactant mixture
A method of preparing a detergent composition that includes anionic surfactant, silicone, and cationic polymer. Detergent compositions prepared according the method.
COMPOSITION FOR AN ORGANIC CLEANING PRODUCT
A natural cleaning product which does not contain any harsh chemicals or toxins. Specifically, the cleaning product is based on borax and yucca plant products. A composition for an organic cleaning product comprises distilled water; borax; distilled white vinegar; yucca root soap; and optionally, lavender essential oil, peppermint essential oil; and eucalyptus. Also disclosed is a process for the production of yucca root soap which is used in producing the organic cleaning product of the invention.
Color protection in fabrics using citric acid and iminodisuccinate in fine fabric liquid detergent
Provided is a liquid detergent that includes a liquid carrier, at least one surfactant, such as at least one anionic surfactant, and at least two chelating agents.
