The present invention relates to granules comprising an active substance, obtained by spray-drying an emulsion comprising said active substance, solid particles, water and a water-soluble biopolymer having a molecular weight below 100 KDa. The invention further relates to a process for obtaining such granules and to products containing them.

A solid free-flowing particulate laundry detergent composition comprising: (a) from 0.1 wt % to 5 wt % hueing agent particle comprising: (i) from 2 wt % to 10 wt % hueing agent, wherein the hueing agent has the following structure: ##STR00001## wherein: R1 and R2 are independently selected from the group consisting of: H; alkyl; alkoxy; alkyleneoxy; alkyl capped alkyleneoxy; urea; and amido; R3 is a substituted aryl group; X is a substituted group comprising sulfonamide moiety, and wherein the substituent group comprises at least one alkyleneoxy chain that comprises an average molar distribution of at least four alkyleneoxy moieties; and (ii) from 60 wt % to 98 wt % clay; and (b) from 0.5 wt % to 20 wt % ethoxylated alkyl sulphate particle including: (i) from 40 wt % to 60 wt % partially ethoxylated alkyl sulphate anionic detersive surfactant; (ii) from 20 wt % to 50 wt % salt; and (iii) from 10 wt % to 30 wt % silica.

A solid free-flowing particulate laundry detergent composition including: (a) from 0.5 wt % to 20 wt % ethoxylated alkyl sulphate particle including: (i) from 40 wt % to 60 wt % partially ethoxylated alkyl sulphate anionic detersive surfactant; (ii) from 20 wt % to 50 wt % salt; and (iii) from 10 wt % to 30 wt % silica; and (b) from 0.01 wt % to 2 wt % perfume.

The present invention relates to a solid free flowing particulate laundry detergent composition including: (a) anionic detersive surfactant; (b) wherein the composition is essentially free of zeolite builder; (c) wherein the composition is essentially free of phosphate builder; (d) wherein the composition is essentially free of sodium carbonate; (e) wherein the composition is essentially free of sodium silicate; (f) from about 4 wt % to about 20 wt % organic acid; and (g) hueing agent having the following structure:

##STR00001## wherein the index values x and y are independently selected from 1 to 10, wherein the composition at 1 wt % dilution in deionized water at 20 C., has an equilibrium pH in the range of from about 6.5 to about 9.0, wherein the composition comprises from about 30 wt % to about 90 wt % base detergent particle, wherein the base detergent particle comprising (by weight of the base detergent particle): (a) from about 4 wt % to about 35 wt % anionic detersive surfactant; (b) from about 1 wt % to about 8 wt % zeolite builder; (c) wherein the particle is essentially free of phosphate builder; (d) wherein the particle is essentially free of sodium carbonate; (e) wherein the particle is essentially free of sodium silicate; (f) from about 1 wt % to about 10 wt % organic acid.

LAUNDRY DETERGENT COMPOSITION

The present invention relates to a solid free flowing particulate laundry detergent composition including: (a) anionic detersive surfactant; (b) wherein the composition is essentially free of zeolite builder; (c) wherein the composition is essentially free of phosphate builder; (d) wherein the composition is essentially free of sodium carbonate; (e) wherein the composition is essentially free of sodium silicate; (f) from about 4 wt % to about 20 wt % organic acid; and (g) hueing agent having the following structure:

##STR00001## wherein the index values x and y are independently selected from 1 to 10, wherein the composition at 1 wt % dilution in deionized water at 20 C., has an equilibrium pH in the range of from about 6.5 to about 9.0, wherein the composition comprises from about 30 wt % to about 90 wt % base detergent particle, wherein the base detergent particle comprising (by weight of the base detergent particle): (a) from about 4 wt % to about 35 wt % anionic detersive surfactant; (b) from about 1 wt % to about 8 wt % zeolite builder; (c) wherein the particle is essentially free of phosphate builder; (d) wherein the particle is essentially free of sodium carbonate; (e) wherein the particle is essentially free of sodium silicate; (f) from about 1 wt % to about 10 wt % organic acid.

PROCESS FOR PREPARING A SPRAY-DRIED LAUNDRY DETERGENT PARTICLE

The present invention relates to a process for preparing a spray-dried laundry detergent particle, wherein the process includes the step of contacting zeolite to monomeric organic carboxylic acid in an aqueous mixture, wherein the aqueous mixture has a pH of 4.2 or less, wherein the aqueous mixture includes detersive surfactant, wherein the aqueous mixture is substantially free of silicate salt, and wherein the aqueous mixture is substantially free of carbonate salt, wherein the zeolite reacts with the monomeric organic carboxylic acid to form silica, wherein the aqueous mixture is spray-dried to form a spray-dried laundry detergent particle, wherein the particle includes: detersive surfactant; monomeric organic carboxylic acid; and silica, wherein the particle is substantially free of silicate salt, and wherein the particle is substantially free of carbonate salt.
