METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CLEANING FIREARM SUPPRESSORS
A method for cleaning a firearm suppressor having firing residue deposits on inner surfaces thereof, includes: providing a hydraulic system including a cleaning chamber, a turbulence-inducing nozzle, and a non-petroleum-based cleaning solution; installing a used firearm suppressor onto the turbulence-inducing nozzle; placing the used firearm suppressor into the cleaning chamber; tempering the non-petroleum-based cleaning solution to a temperature between about 120° F. and about 180° F.; and flowing the non-petroleum-based cleaning solution through the turbulence-inducing nozzle and the used firearm suppressor at a predetermined pressure and flow rate during a predetermined period of time. An apparatus for cleaning a firearm suppressor having internal baffles and expansion chambers is also described.
Use of propoxylated surfactant or polymer in foaming applications to control viscoelasticity in highly active liquid formulations
Antimicrobial or non-antimicrobial compositions, sanitizing compositions and other compositions combining use of a propoxylated EO/PO block copolymer surfactant and/or propoxylated polymer in combination with at least one additional anionic and/or nonionic surfactant to provide concentrated compositions having a desired viscoelasticity at an active level of at least 18% are disclosed. Non-antimicrobial applications combining use of a propoxylated surfactant and/or propoxylated polymer in combination with at least one additional anionic and/or nonionic surfactant to provide compositions having a desired viscoelasticity are also disclosed. Methods of using concentrated and use compositions having desired foaming enhancement and stabilization are also disclosed.
Particulate fabric care composition
A composition including a plurality of particles, wherein the particles include: about 25% to about 99% by weight a water soluble carrier; and about 1% to about 75% by weight a graft copolymer; wherein the graft copolymer includes: (a) a polyalkylene oxide which has a number average molecular weight of from about 1000 to about 20,000 Da and is based on ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, or butylene oxide; (b) N-vinylpyrrolidone; and (c) vinyl ester derived from a saturated monocarboxylic acid containing from 1 to 6 carbon atoms; wherein each of the particles has a mass from about 1 mg to about 1 g.
Dishwash composition comprising rinse-activatable antifoam
The invention is in the field of hard surface cleaning compositions. There is need for compositions that foam copiously during the washing/cleaning stage. However, during the rinse stage, the foam should rinse-off as quickly as possible in minimum number of rinses-cycles so that the process becomes sustainable. Disclosed is an aqueous cleaning composition, having a pH of 6.5 or lower, comprising (i) 3.0 to 25.0% by weight alkyl ethoxy sulphate; (ii) 1.0 to 5.0% by weight amphoteric surfactant; (iii) 0.1 to 1.0% by weight fatty acids being saturated non-hydroxy C.sub.8-12 fatty acid and a saturated non-hydroxy C.sub.14-18 fatty acid, where ratio of amount of said C.sub.8-12 fatty acid to that of said C.sub.14-18 fatty acid is from 1:0.1 to 1:10 parts by weight; and (iv) 0.5 to 5% by weight non-ionic surfactant, wherein (iii) and (iv) together an antifoaming system, and wherein amount of non-alkoxylated anionic surfactant in said composition in less than 1.0% by weight.

CLEANING LIQUID FOR AQUEOUS INK
The present invention relates to a cleaning liquid for a water-based ink that contains a pigment and a water-insoluble polymer, said cleaning liquid containing (A) an acetylene glycol having an average molar number of addition of EO of 0 to 2 mol, (B) at least one compound selected from the group consisting of an acetylene glycol having an average molar number of addition of EO of not less than 4 mol and a polyethylene glycol alkyl ether containing an alkyl group having not less than 8 carbon atoms, (C) a water-soluble organic solvent and water, in which the water-soluble organic solvent (C) contains at least one water-soluble organic solvent having a boiling point of not lower than 90° C.; a boiling point of the water-soluble organic solvent (C) is not higher than 250° C. in terms of a weighted mean value thereof; and a content of the water-soluble organic solvent (C) in the cleaning liquid is not more than 20% by mass; a process for producing the cleaning liquid; and a method of cleaning a water-based ink using the cleaning liquid.
In-the-bowl dispensing device
Disclosed is an in-the-bowl dispensing device designed to dispense a composition after the flush of the toilet bowl is complete. In this manner the composition is retained in the toilet bowl until the toilet bowl is flushed by the next user.
LIQUID DETERGENT COMPOSITION FOR HARD SURFACES
Provided is a liquid detergent composition for hard surfaces which contains (a1) an amine oxide-type surfactant having at least one alkyl group or alkenyl group with 13 or more and 18 or less carbons [hereinafter, referred to as component (a1)]; and (b1) a sorbitan fatty acid ester in which the fatty acid residue has 10 or more and 18 or less carbons [hereinafter, referred to as component (b1)]; and water, wherein the mass ratio of the content of component (a1) to the content of component (b1), (a1)/(b1), is 0.4 or more.
Also provided is a liquid detergent composition for hard surfaces which contains a surfactant in an amount of 0.1% by mass or more and 20% by mass or less; and water, wherein the liquid detergent composition contains, as the surfactant, (a2) an amine oxide-type surfactant having at least one alkyl group or alkenyl group with 7 or more and 12 or less carbons [hereinafter, referred to as component (a2)] and (b2) a glycerin fatty acid ester in which the fatty acid residue has 10 or more and 18 or less carbons [hereinafter, referred to as component (b2)], and wherein in the surfactant, the total content of the content of component (a2) and the content of component (b2) is 40% by mass or more.
AQUEOUS SURFACTANT COMPOSITIONS
What are proposed are aqueous surfactant compositions comprising one or more of each of alpha-sulfo fatty acid disalts, sulfo ketones, alkyl (ether) sulfates, soaps, inorganic salts of sulfuric acid and water, where the structures of the compounds mentioned and boundary conditions that are to be observed can be found in the patent claims. These compositions have good foaming ability and pleasant sensory properties of the foam and good skin compatibility and they are suitable for cosmetic agents as well as detergents and cleaner.
DISHWASH COMPOSITION COMPRISING RINSE-ACTIVATABLE ANTIFOAM
