Polymerizable lactamic copolymers suitable for the formation of coatings on microencapsulated particles
This present application relates to microcapsules or compositions containing microcapsules wherein the microcapsules comprise a polymerizable lactamic copolymer. More particularly, certain aspects are directed to the use of polymerizable lactamic copolymers in the formation of coatings on microencapsulated particles. These polymerizable lactamic copolymers can result in surface modified microencapsulated particles that may be anionic, non-ionic, or cationic.
AQUEOUS DISPERSION OF CAPSULES
An aqueous dispersion of particles comprising a resin having at least one repeating unit of formula I, II and/or III and which is obtainable by contacting in a liquid comprising water, a compound A comprising at least 2 functional groups selected from the group of functional groups —X—C(═O)—CHR1-C(═O)—R2, —X—C(═O)—C≡C—R2; or —X—C(═O)—CR1=CR2-NR11R12, the functional groups are linked by a linking group comprising a polyester, polyether, polyolefin, polydimethylsiloxane or polycarbonate chain with a compound B comprising at least two —NH.sub.2, —NH.sub.3.sup.+ or —N═C═O, wherein X, R1, R2, R3, R11 and R12 have the same meaning as that defined in the claims and w. The invention also includes a method of producing the aqueous dispersion.

MICROCAPSULES
What are proposed are microcapsules comprising (a) a core comprising at least one active, and (b) a capsule wall,
wherein the capsule wall consists of at least three polymer layers and at least one of the polymer layers consists of a first phenolic resin, wherein the first phenolic resin comprises 3% to 50% by weight of moieties that derive from at least one aromatic polyol, and at least one further polymer layer consists of a second phenolic resin, wherein the second phenolic resin comprises 3% to 50% by weight of moieties that derive from at least one triphenol.
POLYUREA CAPSULES PREPARED WITH ALIPHATIC ISOCYANATES AND AMINES
Polyurea capsules that encapsulate active materials in polymeric walls resulting from the polymerization of an aliphatic polyisocyanate and a cross-linking agent such as a diamine, amphoteric amine or guanidine amine/salt are provided as are consumer products containing said polyurea capsules and for methods for producing such capsules.
Friable shell microcapsules, process for preparing the same and method of use thereof
The present application describes a microcapsule comprising: (i) a lipophilic core material, and (ii) a microcapsule shell, wherein microcapsule shell formed from oil-in-water emulsion polymerisation of monomer mixture consisting essentially of: (a) greater than 70 to about 99% by weight of at least one polyfunctional ethylenically unsaturated monomer, (b) about 1 to about 30% by weight of at least one unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer or its ester, and (c) about 0 to about 30% by weight of at least one vinyl monomer. Also provides process for preparing the same and its method of use in various applications.
Hybrid microcapsules
The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of formaldehyde-free organic-inorganic microcapsules, comprising a hydrophobic active ingredient-based core, preferably a perfume or a flavour, and a shell comprising inorganic particles consisting of non-chemically surface modified inorganic particles. Microcapsules obtained by said process are also an object of the invention. Consumer products comprising said capsules, in particular perfumed consumer products in the form of home care or personal care products, are also part of the invention.
SUSTAINABLE CORE-SHELL MICROCAPSULES PREPARED WITH COMBINATIONS OF CROSS-LINKERS
A biodegradable core-shell microcapsule composition with controlled release of an active material is provided, wherein the shell of the microcapsule is composed of a biopolymer cross-linked with a combination of two or more different types of cross-linking agents.
STABLE GRANULES WITH LOW INTERNAL WATER ACTIVITY
Described are stable, durable granules with active agents, which have consistently low internal water activity, and methods for making such granules. The granules are particularly suitable for inclusion in steam treatment processes, including pelleting and tableting processes and steam processing of feed, without appreciable loss of active agent activity. The granules can be manufactured using humid processing air without compromising the stability of the active agents
WATER-SOLUBLE MULTI-CHAMBER CONTAINER
A water-soluble container made up of two halves that seal together, each containing a plurality of chambers that may receive a cleaning substance, commonly a liquid or powder. This container is formed from four, water-soluble, flexible membranes with each half made up of two of the four membranes; a shaped membrane, and a non-shaped membrane, wherein the shaped membrane seals to the non-shaped membrane to form the plurality of physically distinct chambers. Each half is sealed independently to the other half and are subsequently sealed together at their non-shaped membranes to form the water-soluble container resulting in the outer surface of the container to be shaped on both opposing sides.
Sodium lauroyl sarcosinate containing detergent compositions
A detergent composition and a method of washing/cleaning urushiol at least partially, more typically substantially or completely off a surface of human skin or clothing. The detergent composition is typically a non-buffered composition that contains one or more C12 surfactants, typically at least a sodium lauroyl sarcosinate and the detergent composition is typically free of one or more of (1) any nonylphenol ethoxylate; (2) any pharmaceutically active drug or prodrug; (3) any salt in an amount that affects the functional characteristics of either of the solely C12 surfactants; (4) any salt in granular form; and/or (5) any ethoxylate that is a stand-alone ingredient.
