Compositions and methods for cleaning automotive surfaces
An automotive surface is cleaned by applying an effective amount of a cleaning composition comprising a) at least one hydrocarbon solvent in an amount from about 3 weight percent to about 20 weight percent of the composition, b) at least one thickener/rheology modifier in an amount from about 0.01 weight percent to about 3 weight percent, c) at least one silicone fluid has a viscosity ranging from about 500 to about 20,000 centistokes at 25° C., present in an amount from about 0.1 weight percent to about 3 weight percent, d) at least one wetting agent in an amount from about 0.001 to about 2%, e) at least one hydrophobic additive in an amount from about 0.1 to about 3%, and f) water in an amount from about 60 weight percent to about 85 weight percent to the automotive surface with an application implement.
Reduced inhalation hazard sanitizers and disinfectants via high molecular weight polymers
The invention provides antimicrobial compositions having reduced inhalation risks by combining ammonium compounds and polymers in combination with optional acid components, surfactants and/or additional functional ingredients. The antimicrobial compositions which have a reduced risk of inhalation. Methods of making and employing the compositions are disclosed.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ADDITION OF FUEL ADDITIVES TO CONTROL TURBINE CORROSION
A gas turbine engine system includes a gas turbine engine including a compressor, combustor including a plurality of late lean fuel injectors supplied with secondary fuel; gas turbine, and wash system configured to be attached and in fluid communication with the late lean fuel injectors. The wash system includes a water source including water; first fluid source including a first fluid providing vanadium ash and vanadium deposit mitigation and removal from internal gas turbine components; a mixing chamber in communication with the water source and first fluid source; a water pump to pump the water to the mixing chamber; a first fluid pump the first fluid to the mixing chamber; a fluid line in fluid communication with the mixing chamber and late lean fuel injectors so fluid from the mixing chamber is injected into the combustor at the late lean fuel injectors while the gas turbine engine is on-line.

The wash system is operated with the gas turbine engine off-line.
Additive compositions for pigmented disinfection and methods thereof
The invention provides to a powdered composition of additives and a method of use thereof for increasing the visibility, potency and coverage of disinfectant solutions, such as bleach.
Fine mist hard surface cleaning spray
The need for a spray application of detersive compositions comprising perfume and low levels of surfactant, which provides more even coverage of the surface to be treated, while limiting nose and throat irritation is met by limiting the spray droplet size, such that the spray droplets have a particle size distribution such that the Dv10 is greater than about 40 microns.
LIQUID ACIDIC CLEANING AGENT COMPOSITIONS FOR HARD SURFACES
The present invention relates to the use of a carboxylic-acid-containing cleaning agent for removing stains of vegetable origin and/or for decontaminating surfaces contaminated by plant-protection agents. The agent comprises 20-60 wt. % of an aliphatic C.sub.1-C.sub.10 carboxylic acid, preferably formic acid, or a mixture of two or more of such aliphatic carboxylic acids which preferably comprises formic acid, at least one surfactant, preferably an anionic surfactant and/or at least one non-ionic surfactant, and water and/or solvent as the remainder. In another aspect, the present invention relates to specific carboxylic-acid-containing cleaning agents for hard surfaces, which agents are particularly suitable for the intended use.
AEROSOL CLEANING COMPOSITION
A nonflammable aerosol cleaning composition is formulated with trans 1,2 dichloroethylene, 1,1,1,2,2,3,4,5,5,5-decafluoropentane, 1,1,1,3,3 pentafluoropropane, HFC-134a, and carbon dioxide. The aerosol cleaning composition is formulated for heavy duty, high pressure, and high output cleaning applications for cleaning aviation parts, such as jet engines located about 10 feet away from a user.
Aerosol detergent composition
A nonflammable aerosol composition for washing various types of car/vehicle is of low toxicity, which has little environmental impact in terms of depletion of the ozone layer and so forth, which has a washability as good as or better than conventional products such as has been unattained by aqueous products or high-flash-point products, which permits achievement of appropriate drying characteristics, and which, while preventing erosion of rubbers and resins, causes dirt components to be moistened and washed off and away therefrom by the detergent composition, and which permits accommodation of mechanization by virtue of its being capable of being sprayed thereonto from a roughly constant distance therefrom, said aerosol composition for washing is made to contain (Z)-1-chloro-3,3,3-trifluoropropene and gas propellant which is N.sub.2, compressed air, CO.sub.2, argon, or a mixture of two or more thereof.
