Solid rinse aid compositions and methods of making and using the same are disclosed. Solid rinse aid compositions include in a single concentrate composition a pyrithione preservative system to replace conventional preservatives in the isothiazolinone family, such as chloromethylisothiazolinone. Beneficially, the pyrithione preservative systems eliminate the need for any personal protective equipment to handle the solid rinse aid compositions. Methods of making and use using the rinse aids are also disclosed.

The present invention is a dimensionally stable solid detergent composition which can be used as a soaking composition. The composition includes a bio-based content of 58% or greater and includes an alkalinity source, a metal protector, a surfactant system, water, a threshold agent, and a polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition. The polymer the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition includes a polysaccharide residue present in an amount from approximately 5% to 90% by weight of the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition and a residue of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer or salts thereof present in an amount from approximately 10% to 75% by weight of the polysaccharide hybrid polymer composition.

Provided are tablet binding compositions for binding cleaning and/or disinfecting formulation components into tablets. The tablet binding compositions are suitable replacements for traditional tablet binder compounds, such as boric acid or zeolites. The tablet binding compositions provided herein can produce tablets of increased hardness at lower compression forces and, when dissolved, yield solutions of increased clarity compared to some traditional binder compounds. Also provided are processes for preparing the tablet binding compositions and methods for formation of tablets containing the tablet binding compositions.

The present invention provides an antimicrobial cleansing bar composition comprising 10 to 30 wt % soap, 20 to 45 wt % water soluble organic solvent, 20 to 40 wt % water, 3 to 20 wt % electrolyte other than soap and an antimicrobial agent.

The present invention provides a cleansing composition comprising 10 to 30 wt % soap, 20 to 45 wt % water soluble organic solvent, 20 to 40 wt % water, 3 to 20 wt % electrolyte other than soap and a benefit agent.

The present invention provides a cleansing bar composition comprising 10 to 30 wt % soap, 20 to 45 wt % water soluble organic solvent, 20 to 40 wt % water, 4 to 20 wt % electrolyte other than soap.

A solid rinse aid composition and methods of making and using the same are described. Applicants have surprisingly found that the crystal modifier sodium xylene sulfonate (short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates) at higher percentage can act as a solidification agent. The solid rinse aid composition generally includes a short chain alkyl benzene or alkyl naphthalene sulfonates solidification agent and an effective amount of a surfactant which can include a sheeting agent component, defoamer component and/or association disruption agent. The solid rinse aid composition may be phosphate-free, aminocarboxylate-free, and GRAS if desired.

Methods and apparatus are provided for composite solid cleansing compositions to allow user-customizable solid cleansing compositions. The apparatus comprises a solid cleansing composition that includes at least one attachment module. The attachment module facilitates assembly of solid cleansing compositions into a composite solid cleansing composition. The methods relate to a manner of assembling a composite solid cleansing composition from component solid cleansing compositions, as well as producing component solid cleansing compositions to be incorporated into a composite solid cleansing composition.

The present invention relates to a detergent composition in the form of an effervescent tablet having a high dissolution rate and a good stability. The invention also relates to a method for producing said composition, and to the use of same for producing aqueous solutions of cleaning compositions for cleaning hard surfaces and clothes. The detergent composition is very versatile and, as a result of the incorporation of specific components, allows the production of aqueous solutions for cleaning different materials.
